Not one direct representative from their store entered my home since work began. The upper cabinets cabinets were initially installed a foot too low. Plumbing holes drilled improperly causing immense pressure on pipes. The side panel of my counter was installed incorrectly & was also missing an outlet which was supposed to be installed. I didn't have a properly installed microwave plug for a year. I overheard a phone conversation in which these mistakes were discussed between the workers who were at my home, & ** who was at the store location. ** was heard stating that the ‘last thing he wanted to do was to have to tear things down, potentially reorder materials & redo the work.’ He asked if the homeowner (me) noticed any of the mistakes & ‘if I seemed to like how it looked & didn’t notice or mention that anything wrong, then they could potentially leave it how it was & that I likely wouldn’t even notice until after my project was complete, because only then would I discover that not all of my countertop appliances would fit under the upper cabinets.’ I was completely shocked by the level of dishonesty in this one telephone conversation which displayed how they are willing to purposely cover up mistakes unless the homeowners notice & will not inform the homeowners. A year later & my project is still incomplete. The crown molding was installed poorly & had mismatched colors. They filed a claim with the manufacturer to replace the crown molding but when they sent someone to install it, he put a hole through my ceiling when trying to remove the other crown molding & then Flooring & Cabinet Store told me they would not complete the work but would leave the new crown molding & I could hire someone myself. I requested money back as this was an incomplete project. They only offered $300 for them to not complete the work & no not have to come back to repair the hole in my ceiling, which is an offensive offer but I just was too tired to deal with them any longer.

It should be ZERO stars! I initially thought I did my due diligence. There were a lot of positive reviews and I was thinking it would be good to go with a one stop shopWRONG! This has been the worst experience in my life. I was recently a widow and I bought a new house to start my life over. I was looking forward to new beginningsthey destroyed that. In summary, the work took too long (way longer than estimated) the work was poorly performed, the employees (and their employer) were unprofessional, and the end result I had to spend additional time and money to correct the shoddy work.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company, we are very confused as to why only the 1 star review. Your project was completed on May 17th 2022 with your signature of completion and satisfaction. I am aware we recently did a site inspection due to a flood from you washing machine that caused rippling in the flooring and cabinets. Unfortunately, we can not take responsibility for that and replace items that were damaged free of charge. We relayed that information to you when the site visit was completed on Aug 11th 2022 . We believe that is what sparked the 1 start review? As for the review you left, I would like to address your comments and concerns in order. As for work starting in 8 weeks, there is an extensive design process, especially your project. The Kitchen, ********************************* Store removed walls, rewired areas, flooring throughout, & redesign of many areas including the Kitchen. (Which is extensive due to the customer ability to move and change products in the drawings). I see you signed your sales contract and put down your deposit on May 18, 2021. I see with the changes you made and the added areas you didnt sign off on your final designs until July 23rd 2021. The changes you made to the designs added Custom ************************* *********** Items to the original contract. Orders were placed on July 25th 2021, the cabinets that you had chosen and the cabinets that were added to original contract were custom cabinets. The order time for the cabinetry alone was ***** weeks which was explained at the time of the design stage when cabinetry and areas were added. There were major delivery delays also due to Covid restrictions at that time. We received your final products on January 20th 2022. We immediately Began work on Feb 3rd 2022. The project was punched out and completed with your sign off of Completion and Satisfaction on May 17th 2022. You stated 3 crews were present on your project. There are actually 5 crews that were assigned to complete your projects, Licensed Plumber, Licensed Electrician, Flooring Installer, Cabinet ****************************** They are all licensed. The Kitchen , ********************************* Store also carries a General Contractor ****************************** was installed to specs and all prep was completed, Removal of existing tile was taken up and the floors were smoothed out. This was also signed off for completion and satisfaction on May 17th, 2022. I am aware of the floor that now has problems due to the water damage that was in existence for more than 30 day without contacting a plumber, yet just wiping up spot across your floor. (This stated to our company by you) Scratch on your car. I did address this with you and it was a *******************, I believe from a piece of cardboard which was wiped off. Dust, Yes you probably did have dust in your home, We did extensive demolition, We covered doorways and protected all areas as much as possible. We do make our customers very aware that it will not be dust free, and also explain this in our contract. It is also explained to our customers before they sign off on the What to expect portion of the contract (Please refer to all contract documents, please let us know and we can provide any additional copies you need)Additional Electrical, Upon inspection of your existing electrical, you had many issues that were within the demoed walls that you brought to our attention. Service in your property needed to be updated by service provider. We did offer the option of you paying this directly and also grouping together the electrical portion of our contract. We were please to offer you this discount by going direct and therefore supplied you with a credit and a check back for $4100.00 As for the remaining items that you mentioned, these items were addressed at the end of the project, they were completed, Inspected and signed off to your satisfaction on May 17th 2022.We do appreciate your business very much, it is unfortunate that we would be punished by a 1 star review due to a flood which occurred in your property due to work that was not performed by our company. It is also unfortunate that this water issue was not immediately address by you for more than 30 days, which has now caused damage to your existing finishes. The Kitchen, ********************************* Store appreciates your business.

There wasn't a flood. There was a leak under the floor because the toilet wasn't sealed down after you guys took it up and put the floors down. I even bought the wax seal for your crew to install because your project manager said it wasn't listed in the scope. Your employee did not replace the old seal with the new seal initially. He left the old seal and then put clear caulking around the bottom of the toilet to seal to the floor. It was the half bath. Of course I would not have notice it immediately because it was the half bath that I don't usually use. I sent your employee and you the video and he tried to tell me that the seal is only to prevent smell from coming underneath it. The floor damage starts at the toilet and stops in the middle of the laundry room. There is no damage under the washing machine or the panels of flooring immediately in front of the washing machine. You did not cover the rooms on day one when the cabinets were being removed or when the fire place was being demo, which caused the other rooms and the ceiling to be covered in the dust. My car was hit by the trim that was being taken out of the truck by your project manager not cardboard. I showed you the video. You had 3 different crews demo the soffit, counter tops, cabinet, and fireplace. I wasn't referring to the plumber and the electrician. The floor panels in the living room that you guys already replaced once because the floor wasn't leveled is popping up again. I wasn't asking for money back I just wanted it fixed.

Thank You so much for your reply, The floor did flood recently, As it was admitted by you and a video in the kitchen area was provided, At inspection there was no water anywhere. The toilet was installed months ago with a seal. If there was no seal it would leak immediately. It has been installed for month. We do offer ******** services. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Thank You for your business.
