    I have paid Elitescape $2,160.00 to remove and put new sod.in my yard, About 80% of the grass is weeds and nut grass. I have sent him pictures and asked him to replace the grass he declined to do so..

       On July 21 2022 our company purchased, delivered and installed 3.2 pallets of St Augustine sod at the clients home in ******* ***** ****. We prepped the existing area to remove the exisisting weeds and grasses to the best of our ability with a sod cutter. the entire area and surrounding areas were full of existing weeds and various grasses. there is no way to completlty remove the pre emergent weeds that will ultimatley return.  the only way to control them is with a continoius lawn treatment plan provided by a proffesional company.  the client was informed that the weeds would return and he must get on a lawn program.

     

    We were origanally asked to also install a sprinkler system but the ckient ultimatley declined this service  .

    I explained that the lawn would need a full 1hr of water every day for 14 days starting at 5am in the

    ereas where the new sod was installed.  It has always been our policy that the sod is a living breathing organism and must be properly cared for by the client to keep it watered and healthy after the

    installion. We are unable to insure this care and therefore the sod has no warranty or guarantees. this has always been our policy.

      EliteScapes, Inc. strives to purchase and install high quality products and provide professional services to our clients. We professionally installed the sod on July 21st, 2022, and when we came by to collect the final payment, the clients were pleased and stated that we did a great job. I thanked them and collected the check from the Mrs., and she thanked me as well.  No issues and no complaints were addressed at the day of completion.

       We were unaware of any issues until several weeks later.  On August 16th I was sent a text message to come take a look at the lawn. I went out there on August 17th and saw that the pre-emergent weeds were coming up through the new sod. I offered to mow the lawn at no cost and suggested that they get the lawn professionally treated to kill off the weeds once the sod had been down for 30 days. I also highly recommended that they have a fully automated sprinkler system installed to get the proper amount of water to the lawn, especially after the lawn was sprayed to keep it from burning up after the weed killer and fertilizer was applied.

       We try our best to educate our clients about watering, pest & weed control and fertilization. We are unable to control what actually happens after we leave the property, and the home or business owner is ultimately responsible for the care of the sod or plant materials.

    I am rejecting this response because:******* does not stand by his work.80% of the sod is nut grass

    I have it all taped on my ring camera he keep saying water water which we did .

    I bought 1 1/2 pallets of grass to fix his bad work and pay $600.00 to have  lay it out.

    I have complained many times to him . I texted him too which I have All about bugs have nothing to do about the sod it was done by *******

    His brother *****  recommended him ,
