I am writing to kindly request a reconsideration of my restaurant's lease termination for ** *****, tenant number ******, in **** **** Shopping Center. My lease was extended to February 2024 due to **** renewal issues. In January 2024, I was informed via email that my account would go month-to-month until May 31, 2024, to provide flexibility. In April 2024, it was agreed to extend this arrangement until November 2024. Ms. ******* confirmed this, and my understanding was that I could vacate any month without liability until then due to the uncertainty of my situation, which I have always communicated transparently with the leasing office. On July 1, I requested lease termination by the end of July, believing it was month-to-month. However, on July 2, I was informed that I would be liable for rent until November, contradicting previous communications. The leasing office claimed that the month-to-month term referred to the rate, not the lease term, which was never communicated. This response came as a shock, and I kindly requested reconsideration without success. While I understand that the contract sent following our teleconference is an agreement in place and that I should have read it prior to signing, I strongly feel that the terms were not clearly communicated during any verbal discussions or email exchanges. As a loyal tenant since 2017 with no past issues, I believe a middle ground can be mutually agreed upon. In light of the attached letter, which provides more details with specific dates and correspondences, as a local woman-owned small business, I kindly ask Regency Centers to reconsider the leasing office’s response by allowing the lease termination to be at the end of September 2024 without further obligation. I also ask Regency Centers to honor the verbal and email agreement, allowing lease termination at the end of August 2024 with no further obligation until November 2024. This resolution would align with my original understanding.

I parked my car at the parking lot of the Twin City Plaza on 1/25/2024. My car was towed away by B&B *********** tasked by the Twin City Plaza. The towing company said that I didn't go to the stores in the Plaza after parking my car. In fact, I met a friend after parking and decided to get coffee together at the Dunkin's in the Plaza. But when we passed by the place where I parked my car, I couldn't find it and I called 911 only to find out my car was towed. I tried to explain to the towing company, but they said they were instructed by the Plaza. I called the Plaza many times but no one answered. How could they just tow customers' cars right after they park without knowing their whole itinerary? I was very upset about this trouble and request a refund of the towing charges of $191.28.
