We paid Waychoffs $919 including $250 in cash. They have been to our house five times and never fixed our ac. We were told we would be called back twice by someone named ******* I believe and we're never called back. We had to use another company and had a new system put in. We want a refund of our money.Business response

As we take all of our customers concerns very seriously, our customer relations manager reached out to *** ****** to listen to and address his concerns. After discussing the repair and amounts paid, we agreed to an amicable resolution via a refund to *** ******, who has graciously accepted this resolution and we consider this matter resolved. I recently replaced my A/C unit in Jan,2021, not because it wasn't working but because it was getting of age. I had Waychoff's Air Conditioning to quote me a price and I accepted it. After researching from A/C personnel I knew and through various we**ites, I found that Amana made a pretty quiet, pretty reliable A/C unit, so I had one installed by Waychoff's. It ran well for about 6mos, afterwards, it began to run constantly all night. My wife called and reported the issue to Waychoff's and they sent a tech to our home a couple of days later. The tech concluded that he couldn't find any issues. Next night, same issue, we video-recorded the noise and sent it to Waychoff's, the service manager told my wife, it suppose to make noise, as long as it is cooling the house, it's fine. Well, it's not cooling the house, the air-conditioner isn't running at all. All I get is ** from this company and hot air from their unit. please help!Business response

We came out when you called on 9/23 for a noise complaint and the system was not making a noise when tech arrived. We came back out today 9/30 when you called and found a bad part and replaced. We have fixed the system and it is cooling. We have done everything we could to respond and fix the system quickly.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, the business tech informed me that they knew about similar issues with this same type unit and that they themselves created a work-around. So is this just a Band-Aid over a bullet wound, We'll see.
