We purchase our home in August 2020 from ***** ***** **** *********. One of the contingencies of the purchase was a roof replacement (required by insurance) because the owners had no proof the roof was less than 10 years old. They contracted with Acrown Roofing. A permit was pulled. Roof was replaced, but it failed final inspection. I did not know this. Was not mentioned at closing. I found out this week, when I tried to put the house up for sale. A Crown Roofing company completed a re-roof of my home one month before I purchased the home. A Crown Roofing did not close out the building permit upon completion. I am paying high insurance premiums since I can not provide the insurer with a final permit. I have called repeatedly with no return call from A Crown. I only get voicemail. A crown installed my roof in March 2020 We discovered a leak I have been trying to reach them left multiple messages and have not received a call back. Their voicemail gets full then it’s available again but they have not reached out I just want to know they are aware of the issue and will be taking care of it a phone call would be appreciated. I am aware it is a busy time for their industry and everyone is having staffing issues but communication goes along wayCustomer response

Installed a new roof in 2020 but never closed the permit. They are no longer licensed in my county and won't answer our calls. We are selling the house and this came to our attention. We will be forced to pay a licensed company to come inspect and certify their work. Which Noone wants to do. Pretty big deal and can't even get back to usInitial Complaint

I had a new roof installed at my rental property at ***** ****** **** ** in ************, FL in January of 2021. I advised the owner in November of 2021 that there was a leak in the garage and a repair was needed. The owner advised the new roof is covered under warranty and would inspect the damage and make arrangements for the repair. As of January 2022, I have since then received NO repairs and my emails and messages have gone unanswered. I am extremely frustrated and upset at the lack of professionalism and customer service. My tenant has been extremely patient with this matter, but 2 months is way too long to have warranty covered repairs that are not taken care of immediately which in turn will cause further damage. This is not the proper way to conduct business and I would not recommend this company.Business response

This customers on our repair list and we are working to get her problem taken care of. We have had a few problems with repair men staffing with covid lately, which has left us a little short handed. Mr **** will be calling to setup and appointment to see what the issue is.
