. In my community, the senior project manager Dan C, from Elo Roofing violated SB276, During my solicited visit with him I explained that homeowners complain to us about door to door sales as the HOA all the time. The homes in our community are aged between 9 and 15 years and need roofs. Homeowners will watch from a far and ask about the customer experience. However, Dan disrespected that on the very same day of our visit. The effective date of SB76 went into effect in Florida on July 1, 2021. The bill prohibits contractors, and persons acting on behalf of contractors, from: • Soliciting residential property owners through prohibited advertisements, which are communications to a consumer that encourage, instruct, or induce a consumer to contact a contractor to file an insurance claim for roof damage; • Offering the residential property owner consideration to perform a roof inspection or file an insurance claim; • Offering or receiving consideration for referrals when property insurance proceeds are payable; • Unlicensed public adjusting; and • Providing an authorization agreement to the insured without providing a good faith estimate Dan disrespected what I shared with him as the president of the HOA about the unwanted solicitation because I guess he felt like we can't control who goes door to door of an individuals home, and he earned sales from a few of those visits. Elo Roofing also violated the notary laws under Florida Statutes Section 117.107 Section 9. For my transaction he took a picture of my driver's license on May 25th 2024. He took it to Rebecca A******* to notarize, and she falsified that I was present before her on May 31st. I have security video footage and a witness that Rebecca was never at my home. Also, they don't do electronic notarizations, by use of the zoom calls, where the notary and person with the id can see each other. He also asked other homeowners for their id. Elo is also violating SB2a which outlaws assignment of benefits.

5 starsWe had our roof done with Elo. My first contact was with Sam W****** he was very helpful in getting the process going. He’s very professional and guided us through the stages of the roof install. He took pictures and sent them to me keeping me updated on the roof install. Any minor issues that arose Sam W****** took care of it and made things right. Our roof looks amazing and it helped us sell our home almost immediately after the roof was installed. Elo completed our Palm Coast roof in one day. There were 17 workers on the job. Excellent in every respect. They were 4,000 cheaper than next best bid.ELO Roofing LLC

STAY FAR AWAY !! Nothing more than scammers !! They'll give you a SIGNED CONTRACT with one price, then after fighting with insurance company they'll CHANGE the CONTRACT to an "estimate" & will be for FULL AMOUNT of settlement. The price change is approx a 30% increase + they want to add another $2000 as a "deductible" ! Deductible is paid to INSURANCE CLAIM NOT TO ROOFING COMPANY !! SO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS !! Unless you have an additional $5000 to pay out of pocket !!ELO Roofing LLC

By law, you are required to pay your deductible, which is typically paid to the roofing company managing your project.Furthermore, it is important to emphasize that the roofing company did not increase the price of your contract. The adjustments in cost were due to the necessary steps required to ensure your roof was replaced appropriately and in compliance with all regulations based off the route that had to be taken to have it replaced.We are disappointed that you felt the need to post this review despite the significant efforts made by our team and your attorney to secure a new roof at minimal cost to you. I ask for a estimate for a new roof all this company was worried about was who my insurance company was very unprofessional. I told the gentleman no insurance he immediately become not interested but promised me a estimate this was on a Tuesday. In my world this is not how you do business thanks to the way this man and his helper acted around my wife questioning her about my insurance made my wife feel very uncomfortable I won't be using them and I will not remove this reviewELO Roofing LLC

1 starELO is clueless in regards to workplace quality control. When your new roof from ELO leaks worse that the old one you start to ask some serious questions about this company. After six attempts over the year to repair new ELO roof I totally give up with their incompetence. With the last ELO repair attempt on the ridging shingles I had to finish the job myself. Every ridge shingle repair site had to to pushed back down into place to seal the roof CORRECTLY. You are not following up with any quality of repairs hence - near enough is not good enough. Absolute lack of supervision has led to this. Thoroughly insulting accusing your customer of lying, when photographic evidence proves ELO totally in the wrong. Tell that to the ********** Air conditioning company contractors who repaired the broken ducting on roof that ELO broke. A token gesture payment was made however ELO did not even have the common decency in the end to meet half way with the cost of out of pocket repair expenses. So buyer beware there are failures from ELO to simply meet industry standards. Had to have roof independently assessed. It's not just me, neighbors roof from ELO is of similar poor quality. In the end it would have been more cost effective to have accepted a dearer roofing quote and have better outcomes.
