***** ***** with Palm Island Homes replaced our roof in Nov 2022 and installed the wrong style of vent. We have been experiencing leaks and water damage in our home ever since, and I have not been able to get in touch with Mr. ***** since May 2023. My insurance has stated that this should be covered by a roof warranty, and I just want the issue resolved.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: No work has been done to the roof since this contractor was present in November 2022. Upon further inspection, it appears that the vent is from the original roof that should have been removed completely at the time of replacement. Instead, it appears that the vent was left on, painted to look new, and improperly sealed with new roof material. That would explain why your supply list doesn't include vents, but not why the original vent is still present and now being passed off as someone else's work.

In addition, I have documentation of an email sent on 5/21/24 to , two calls placed on 5/21/24 and 8/1/24 to your current telephone number (904)********* and even a call on 8/1/24 to a secondary business phone number that is listed online as associated with your address: Palm Island Homes Inc, **** ***** **** ****** ***** ********. The first call on 5/21/24 was over a minute long, indicating a voicemail was left. How else would you have suggested I get in touch?

    Regards,
