    Tax Defense Network helped me set up payments with the IRS for back taxes. In the amount that they charged me they included a fee to do my 2024 taxes. They never reached out to me too do my taxes. I reached out tip them and they said they would send me a packet. I never received anything in the mail. I told them I was anticipating a return and wanted that applied to the balance that I owed to the IRS before they contacted the IRS on my behalf. That never happened and I went ahead and completed my 2024 taxes throughout Turbo Tax. I reached out to Tax Defense again and I was told they received authorization to refund me for paying for my own taxes. To date I have not received the refund. I have reached out to them multiple times by email, phone call, text. I was told the money would be refunded again then they stopped responding to my calls and texts. They continue to withdraw money on a weekly bases for the fees they charged me to help me set up payments with the IRS. At no point did they ever negotiate with the IRS to lower my taxes. I'm requesting they refund me for $237.27. If Tax Defense charged me more to do my taxes then I am requesting they reimburse me for that amount as well.

    On 3/11/25 My husband and myself signed paperwork to get assistance with our $23k *** debt because the tax advisor stated that he was confident they could settle our debt for pennies on the dollar after giving him all of our income and debt information. He stated the amount of the services in which we also told him we could not afford. He went on to state that he "may get in trouble for this" but offered a finance option which we were approved for at 26% interest. I questioned him how this would benefit us, to which his response was he was "100% confident" the program would pay for itself because we would end up in a payment arrangement with the *** for 10 years at an amount we can afford and then at the end of that 10 years the remainder we owe the *** would be "written off". This convinces us ti sign and pay the insanely high fee. On April 1st we finally received an email from our assigned advisor **** ******* who stated he spoke to an *** agent that provided him with the amount we owe for 2021 but that the agent he spoke with could not provide him with what we owe for 2024 (all information I had already provided him with, so this call was a useless service as we know what we owe) he went on to go over several proposed options such as a payment plan that I could have proposed with the *** myself for free! Along with other options like a offer in compromise that requires a 6 page fincial statement offering no help to complete the form, just to complete it and return it to him before 5/01/25 as thus is the hold he was supposed allowed by the ***. I asked him to please call me after 6pm central time as I had questions, to which he replied his business hours ar 9-5pm, hours in which my husband and I work, yet he had originally told me to call his cell phone any time and he would return our calls in a timely manner, but now there is a time frame. I would like to cancel my services and have ach transactions canceled, and just make *** payment arrangements myself!

    I would like to withdraw my complaint with the BBB as **** Buchant called me this morning. I am in no way a tax expert and the information he provided me was helpful. I now feel confident in my decision of hiring the tax defense network and realize that my complaint was made prematurely and without all the facts that I needed that I now have after speaking with ****.

    I was told that they would help me with my tax problem. I was charged almost $8k and after several months, I was told to make monthly payments above and beyond my income. NOTHING CHANGED Now I STILL have this lingering tax bill hanging over my head and I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to lose my house.

    On August 21, 2024, I entrusted Tax Defense with $5,400, believing they would effectively resolve my tax debt by negotiating with the IRS to reduce the amount owed. I was specifically working with ***, who assured me that my issues would be addressed. However, Tax Defense failed to deliver on their promises, taking my money without any genuine effort to negotiate on my behalf. When I requested *** to connect me directly with the IRS, he refused, claiming he wasn't willing to engage in back-and-forth communications between us. After months of waiting with no resolution, I decided to cancel my involvement with Tax Defense. To my dismay, *** told me he couldn't process my cancellation and instead provided a contact number that went unanswered, leaving me feeling scammed. Frustrated and desperate to sort out my situation, I reached out to the IRS on February 11, 2025. They informed me that Tax Defense often misleads clients by claiming they cannot secure any tax breaks. Taking matters into my own hands, I successfully negotiated an agreement directly with the IRS. I am now seeking a full refund from Tax Defense, as their lack of service and support has caused me significant frustration and financial loss.

I decide to resolve my taxes with the IRS within one day at the after Dat the guy that I was working with decided he was not going to go back-and-forth with the IRS with me on the phone.

    I contacted the company for assistance regarding a wage levy, was advised that they may not be able to assist, advised that I would like to cancel service, was assured a call back within 30 minutes of receiving the request, have left several messages with no success.     I hired Money Solver to take care of some tax issues. Help lower my debt and proceed further. They did nothing as promised. Even with proof of a domestic situation that cause me to be in rut in the first place. The *** was also able to Levy my wages under their nose all while im paying for a service. Forcing me into a pay arrangement I cant afford and could of worked out myself.

    Our client expressed their dissatisfaction with the options offered by our team very recently. Upon internal review, the client's disposable income was the issue preventing our team from being able to establish the lower agreement amount they expected. 
    While we certainly understand their frustration, the resolutions available to our clients depend on their financial circumstances. Which, in this case, did not fit the requirements for an alternative agreement. 

    While our team was able to significantly reduce the client's penalties based on our team's work, this also seems to have fallen short of our client's expectations.

    Given that our client chose to reach out to the *** directly the same day they agreed to an agreement supported by our team, refunding their service fees would be unreasonable and contradictory to our refund policy in their service agreement.

    I have asked for cancellation about 5 times. And revoked auto pay authorization and they still charge card on file. Worse customer services and lack of communication.

    hired tax defense network to help me with my taxes, i paid them 4000$, during the process, they found an error on my w2's that my job reported to the state of ********, that i was told by the tax defense person over my case, that i would owe thousands more dollars to ******** if i didn't get it corrected and it was filed the way that it was, im not sure what is taking my job so long to correct my w2's but tax defense has decided that would move forward with filing my taxes, despite them being inaccurate, they are also telling me that my signed court order that i have permission to claim one of my kids on my taxes is also no good, when it has been accepted by the *** on 5 other occasions and they never once asked for anything else, i submitted a request to get a refund, and i was told that as far as me owing Maryland, "to just not file the returns" if i do not live in ********, and if they catch it later, "just deal with it then". i was told i cant get my money back because there are no issues, hundreds of people are being scammed by this company and being taken for thousands, in return they are requesting people break federal and state laws by recommending a person just simply not file the return, they failed to do their job, and my taxes are still not done, there has to be some help

    I have been receiving multiple calls on my cellphone for the last three weeks. I have blocked the many different #s they call on to no avail. They keep leaving voicemails from ***. I have never ever requested service from this company. I'm afraid to call this company for fear I will be recognized as a legitimate #. Please stop these jokers. Thanks ***

    I am becoming very frustrated with working with this company as it appears they just take your $5,000 and do the exact same thing that we can do as consumers. The reason for coming to this company was to negotiate a lower monthly payment with my state. It has been 6 months since I started the process and Im continuously being told they cannot reach anyone from the state of MD collection ***** meanwhile, my vehicle registration has expired and I reached out well ahead of time to rectify my tax debt before my registration expired. The first ******** that I was working with wasnt responsive at all and I believe he greatly delayed this process. I dont see the benefit in hiring this company.
