    On March 11, 2024, I purchased a used car from M&J auto sales. A 2011 Toyota Corolla. I recently tried to trade the car in with another dealership for something better. That’s when I found out the car I financed with M&J auto sales has a salvage or rebuilt title. I dealt with 3 different workers at M&J auto including the finance manager and assistant manager no one mention the car had title issues. After going back looking at my contract I don’t see it mentioned anywhere in any of the papers they gave me either. Also they added on an extra $6922.06 from what that had the car listed for. I was taking advantage of because I was young by myself and in desperate need of a car at the time.

    M&J auto sold me a car on 02/25/2023 I was only a 33 days behind I spoke to the lender and they told me they didn’t repo my car come to find out it was M&J because I have it on recording the dream catcher recovery told me, so I call M&J to see how much do I need to pay to get my car back they told me ***** that’s including the tow. I told him that is ridiculous because I only owe for one month and three days or only $***. Why should I pay you guys a Buy back of *****. He told me you said you will any amount to get your car back well there go the amount so I asked them can they work out a deal with me to pay the ***** they told me no after 10 days they are going to resale the car again.. I have all the calls recording and text messages

    The customer, was passed due over 30days. In which time the lender issued a buyback for the customer. At that point the vehicle was eligible for repossession, and was picked up. Customer was told the amount of the repurchase required, we do not offer additional financing options other than the out sourced lenders or cash.

    United auto credit requires, the dealership to repurchase a loan after customer is past due. We do NOT offer anymore financing options after this occurs. Customer did not make the payments for the vehicle, at that point the loan had to be repurchased by the Dealer, at which time we paid United auto credit and from that point we are allowed to attain our collateral property. The customer was only being told to pay the dealer what the bank made us pay. We do not make any addition monetary gains when this happens, this is actually a big inconvenience for the dealership. If the customer had made the payments on time, which is clearly outlined in the contract, we would not have this issue. We gave the customer the exact number for the amount we had been charged, which is $8499 repurchase price plus $400.00 repo fee. We are at no fault in this matter. Make your car payments and these problems, will not happen.

    My wife and I purchases a vehicle (2012 Jetta) from M&J in August 2022. A few days after the purchase, we notice that the engine light came on. We took the vehicle back to the business and asked them to address the issue. They kept the car for a week and then said that all was okay. Despite this red flag, we decided to keep the car. This was a big mistake. Six months afterwards, the engine failed. The head gasket had issues, based on an assessment from an independent inspector. Looks like they did not fix the engine. Also, they have horrible customer service. Try calling the main line and see if anyone answers. The person bought the car from never returns calls. As a matter of fact, we recently went to the office to discuss the issue. We were told someone would call us with estimates, and no one called. Just a horrible business with poor customer service. The owner, who no one can get a hold of, should be ashamed of this business. This business is just unprofessional and lacks customer service. The business does not care about anything but selling cars, many of which are not even good cars.

    Our customer ****** ******s and ******* ******s, made a purchase at M&J Auto Sales and Service LLC on Aug 27th of 202.  The vehicle listed in the dispute 2012 Volkswagen Jetta (Vin:3VWDP7AJ5CM327439)  was sold AS IS to our customer listed above.
    At the time of purchase we went above and beyond for our customer and replaced an O2 sensor that took 3 days to reach the dealership because it was simply on back order and that's what caused the check engine light to be on and the O2 sensor Functioned as designed once the customer received their vehicle back.
    After ownership of almost 1yr, the customer is the SOLE person responsible for the vehicle maintenance, inspections and or other unforeseen issues.
    M&J AUTO SALES AND SERVICE LLC strive for our customer's satisfaction and it's unfortunate that our customer is facing issues with their vehicle.

    They did not go above and beyond to accommodate us. After this issue with the car, 2 days after purchase, we had a hard time getting in touch with them to return the car for service. Then, they kept the car for a whole week. At this point, we really should have backed out of the deal. Not sure why we didn't get our money back then. The purchase mistake we have made. In January, the engine problem started. We went to two mechanics, and they said that the engine was a ticking time bomb. They said that whoever (the M&J mechanic) tried to fix the issue poured a sealant into the engine area near the head gasket in an attempt to seal the crack. The sealant was a short-term fix. After 5 months of driving the car, the engine gave way. Now, the car is not drivable. We will have to pay thousands of dollars to get it fixed. We then went back to M&J to inquire about getting a new engine. They completely ignored us. We went to them in May. This was only 9 months after ownership. They are giving the impression that it was close to a year. Well three months is not that close. They said they would call with prices for a new engine, but no one ever called. Just the worst service imaginable.  If that is going above and beyond, then something is clearly wrong with this business

    We bought a car, cancelled the deal 2 weeks later due to the car had major issues they did not want to fix. 4 days later we find another car, but cannot get financed due to M & J has not paid the lender back the $9400.00 for the car. They said "oh well". You cant make me, then blocked my phone. Isnt this fraudulent somehow? Then after they cancelled the deal they tried running my account for $800.00 4 days after the deal was cancelled. I think i may need a lawyer. They have offically ruined my credit due to not wanting to pay ******** ********* what they owe them. They told ** ******** we do not have the money to pay back ******** right now sorry. oK, how ** *** suppose to get a car with a car on *** credit *** doesnt even own? This company should be shut down for selling salvaged re-built cars. The sell re-built cars with re-built titles. So upset.

    Hi I recently brought a car from M &J auto sales and service off of Atlantic Blvd. I purchased the vehicle back in August of 2022 putting 15,000 down on the car and paying a monthly fee of 288 a month to pay the rest of the car off. I called M&Js due to me having complication with the vehicle and the transmission going out on the car. Instead of helping I was given the run around about the car and also was hung up on and they chose to start not answering my phone calls. I did try and reason with them about the vehicle asking was there a way to fix it or at least get another vehicular off the lot for the same price I payed.

    Regards, The vehicle was showing problems after I purchased it I contacted and informed M&J auto services of the problem the same month of me having the vehicle within 30 days of purchase I started seeing the car had problems I contacted M&J auto services countless times only to be talked to rude and Ignored about it until I made this claim on the vehicle the salesman **** stated he could give me a 10,000$ credit towards a new vehicle even after I paid 15,000$ for the vehicle I haven't had the vehicle a full year and the transmission has completely went out leaving me without any transportation

    On October 23rd I found out about this place and reached out via phone call and text message **** the owner seemed nice and got me approved for a car we only ever talked about my down payment being 2000 so on November 11th we went to the dealership to get the car it was a 2014 ford with over 122,000 miles on it and the seats arm rest and gear stick was ripped and torn . The guy ****** said he talked to the bank which is untrue because it was Veterans Day and he upped the price to $2500 when we only discussed $2000 so he encouraged us to just put down a deposit and come back because insurance places was closed so we talked it out and just put down $1500 then when we tried going back he wanted more money so I just politely asked for a FULL refund he said “no problem “ I texted asking how long would it take to be back on my card and he ignored me , my boyfriend had to call and find out for me . so I get the refund on 11/16/22 and he didn’t give me everything back only $1400 and kept 100 dollars of my hard earned money I tried calling him he didnt answer after me calling again he blocked me and he also blocked my boyfriend . my mother in law also reached out and she was ignored as well I just want my $100 back from them because I didn’t drive the car off the Lott I didn’t sign any type of documents or paperwork at all .

    It’s been over 30 days and my local office still has not received the paperwork for my tags and my temporary tags expired so I’m not able to drive my car to work and it’s putting me at an inconvenience. It should only take a few weeks to get the paperwork through.

    On February 23 of this year I purchased a 2015 Ford mustang from the Dealer. It had minor defects to the eye but they were all cosmetic. The initial experience was good until I had a problem. On May 8 I started hearing a knocking noise it started out light, but immediately after that I contacted the crappy warranty company that they sold me and they told me to take it to the shop immediately after I took it to the shop immediately which was ****** **** in St Augustine because they are the only Ford dealership accepting walk-ins right now. On the way to the dealership it threw a rod bearing and the engine was not able to be repaired used anymore so basically three months into my auto loan I had a useless vehicle, after I had already given them $3000 down upfront the day I bought it. The auto loan is for $19-$20,000 and I contacted the dealer and they basically pled the 5th and told me to deal with the warranty , and I tried to go about it that way but the warranty only covered up to $4000 and my engine was quoted me at 9000+ dollars at ****** ****. that being said in the end I had to spend $6700 and some change to put a brand new engine in my car that I already put $3000 cash money into and have been making payments on a $20,000 loan. The warranty company refused to cooperate in any easy form. They try to fight me every step of the way, they would not lift a finger basically without me putting out money to waste because I could approve or deny my claim and off the rip I would’ve lost money for them wanting my engine tore down, so not only did they sell a vehicle with a bad engine they sold me a really awful warranty that way 1800$ and worthless on my loan. I have receipts I have documents stating everything that I’m saying and I have screenshots of conversations where they tried to play everything off and not try to help me whatsoever they were OK letting me have $20,000 on my credit potentially as a repo because they didn’t want to do the right thing.

    ******* ****** has purchased the 2015 ford mustang (******)  prior to making the purchase the customer had requested to take the vehicle to his privet 3rd party mechanic , we authorized the customer to take the car for inspection . post inspection *** ****** decided to go ahead and make the purchase.

    car was driving great and the customer even picked up the tag and we asked if the car was doing him well and he was very happy with his purchase.

    there is an excessive over charge by the ford dealership that the customer took the car to , the warranty company covers a reasonable amount of $4000 to replace the engine, we advised the customer verbally to take the car to another dealership for inspection and a new repair cost using his warranty's towing. 

    we have no control over the action of the customer in regards of his own property , we advised that he goes to a different dealer but the customer wont take the advice given by our management.

    I am rejecting this response because: what is being typed up by this dealer is completely false; I have complete text conversations between me and the dealer , he tried to get me to take it to S&S customs, which is the same people who had orevhously had a 2-3 thousand dollar service on the vehicle, which clearly shows this car has a history of issues , before my purchase because not only was there that repay but I have procured records from for itself from march of 2021 where is gas engine issues that were serviced for over 2,00o dollars . This owner is this business is just covering us butt , I am not the only person who for one is his vehicles and had issues , my friend ****** ****** not long after me purchased a Vehicle from them and had nothing but problems and that car was more with them or their mechanics being looked at then her actually driving the car so Ilene would I trust anything they ask or tell me to do ? I took my car to other place ford , I went to a reputable mechanic shop I’ve used for years if I ever needed it **** ********** off 103rd at in Jacksonville FL; and he got me a brand new engine for what most places were charging for used or rebuilt , I have test screenshots that more then prove he literally just don’t give a crap . This needs to be rectified because I’ve already been speaking with the lender myself and if he usher gonna sxxoeot my proposal then I can assure rhe business I have already got a backup plan with the lender, so I’m giving them one chance to do the right thing .
