*** *****, the owner of Mandarin Wallpaper installed my wallpaper just over a week ago on January 21, 2022. - The paper was cut crooked. - There were horizontal cuts made in the paper. - The pattern doesn't match up from piece to piece. - There are wrinkles in the paper. - No wallpaper primer was used, and the glue ate through the paint in several spots, creating terrible bumps. - Wallpaper glue got onto the f***t of the paper, which is now stained. I have pictures documenting all of these issues. *** claims these problems were due to leftover dust from the wall sanding that was done in advance. I've had the job examined by more than one professional, and they all agreed these issues were not from leftover dust, but from corners being cut and lack of wallpaper installation knowledge. I've contacted *** several times asking to be reimbursed for the $2,100 wallpaper that was ruined. I said he could keep the $475 that I already paid him for his time. He offered to buy some wallpaper himself to give to me, but I can’t mix dye lots so this will not work. Since I told him this wouldn’t resolve the issue, he won't return my calls or texts. I have all communication (in the form of text messages) documented.
