I am completely at a loss. I have been a customer for webhosting and email account with ******************** for 25 years. Lately the price for 2 years service was ****** per plan. This was a price for many years. Powweb is now merging with Bluehost. I am an old customer of ********************. My price for the next 2 years nearly tripled. I got a notice for the new price of $ ******. Whilst Bluehost is offering new customers a monthly deal of $ 2.50 per month. I cannot use customer support phone. There is no obvious customer support email contact. Only chat service with an employee from *****. Bluehost phone support also not answering. I am protesting that an old customer gets screwed while the company woes new clients with bargain prices. I agreed to a monthly charge which will not be billed automatically. So, on top of it, I don't even know how I can pay now on a month to month basis. I need help. Powweb is hosting our website for 25 years and my business emails are all there. It is like an eviction notice. I would very much appreciate to stay as a customer. I pay more than the new customers that ********************** is trying to attract. It doesn't make sense. It is an outrage. I can't upload screenshots at this time.

On August 12th I was charged $804.69 for a 3-year renewal of my domain name. I never received an email that it was going to renew (originally signed in 2021) and when I contacted them once I was made aware of charge on 23rd of August (saw charge on credit card) they told me they would not refund as I had miss 15 day pre-renewal. I believe this was an adhesion contract and never received notice of the charge. I request full refund.

I have paid for my domain, clubfitnessgym.com for years through FatCow. Now they say it is with bluehost and has expired and I never received an email. They told me the renewal went to a blastcrete.com email. I reached out to this company and they have no record of it. Meanwhile, I cannot run my business online or receive emails. I feel something horrible has happened and my account has been hijacked by this bluehost company. How does a company that has nothing to do with mine get control of my account?

I moved my web hosting to Bluehost in February of 2024, and since that time I have had an email delivery issue. I am not using Bluehost for my email and therefore have to make a c-panel record configuration in email routing to reflect this. Unfortunately, that configuration does not stick. I spoke with support back in February and explained this and thats when they informed me of the c-panel configuration. I thought it was resolved but today found that it was not and that I could not make the config stick. I opened a chat session where the agent spent an hour with me to inform me I didn't make the configuration (after I explained i had multiple times and that it won't stay. He offred to make the change and said it was all set. I confirmed that the error still existed in my email and that the c-panel config showed on my end with no config, he then began to argue and I asked for an escalation. He told me all other tiers would tell me the same thing and refused to escalate. He then told me to have a nice day and ended the chat. I could not even capture the transcript.

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Bluehost, a web hosting service provider, regarding an issue with their product renewal policy. As a customer based in ********, I have been using Bluehost services for more then 3 years and have recently encountered an unsatisfactory and misleading experience with their renewal process. On 6-August-2024, I attempted to renew my SpamExperts with Bluehost. However, I was informed by their customer support agent that the renewal term would start from the original expiration date of the service, rather than from the date of payment. This information was not clearly communicated during the renewal process, and I feel that this policy is unfair and does not provide the full value for the renewal payment.Despite my efforts to escalate the matter within Bluehost, including a direct request for a supervisor and detailed communications outlining my concerns, the issue remains unresolved. The company's response has been inadequate, and they have not offered a satisfactory solution. As a customer, I believe I should receive the service for the full period paid for, starting from the date of renewal payment.I respectfully request the Better Business Bureau's assistance in resolving this issue. I seek a fair adjustment to the renewal term to reflect the actual payment date and clear communication of such policies in the future to avoid similar misunderstandings.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your guidance on the next steps.BlueHost.com Account ID ******** Order Number ********** Invoice #********

I signed up for a trial with bluehost in July 2023. At the end of the trial, about 14 days. I decided I cancelled my account. ********************** charged me $164 last week clsiming it was auto renew for their services. I made sure I cancelled their services last year. They confirmed the account was inactive but they will not refund the charge.

Newfold Digital *** operating as Bluehost.com Just Took $2160 From Me for Services Not Provided 8/2/2024. 12:43P CST. I just got off the phone with ****** who, (according to him) is the very highest person on the ladder at the ******************************* Team, and so whatever complaint I have stops with him. There is, according to him, nobody at BH I can escalate my case to. As briefly as I can (to comply with BBBs 2000-character limit: I signed up with BH to have them design and build a small e-commerce website for me and unfortunately, paid up front. The company, rather than providing me with an electronic means for uploading/submitting my content to them, insisted on doing lengthy phone interviews to have me describe my website. (Mind you, they are IT web design professionals who can apparently only exchange data by phone). I ultimately lost confidence in their ability to do the job and after 4 days I asked for a refund.I have been told that the cut-off for a refund request is 3 days and they have denied my request. When I asked to escalate the issue, I was informed that there was nobody in the *************** with the authority to override their decision.

I cancelled after an annual auto-renewal and they refused to give me any refund. I do not need or want their service and since I paid for a full year, I would like my money back.

AYLUS.ORG has used Hostgator hosting service since 2015. At the time we signed up for their service, they advertised for unlimited storage. But now they do not provide unlimited storage. In early March this year, we contacted and debated with them. They agreed on our statement and lifted the storage limitation. But now, they re-install the storage limit. It makes our website unable to function properly. The website is used for a non profit, it promotes kids to do volunteering in their communities Over ******************************************************************* their reports, they include pictures during the activities so that we can verify their volunteer services. It demands a large storage space. We originally picked HostGator service, because they provided unlimited storage features. Now they're breaching their promise and cause this non-profit website can not function properly. We demand Hostgator lift the storage limit of this web hosting for AYLUS.ORG and keep their promise.

Bought a 36 month dedicated server package from them in Jan 2023 for my site asiagolfexperiences.com Have constant issues such as email being down/inaccessible, emails not being delivered to our regular suppliers due to poor record of BlueHost server (being blocked due to too much spam), website going offline. All of this comes with poor and almost dismissive 1st line responders. Takes multiple days for escalations to be replied to.They are not able to offer a stable platform and honour what theyre selling.I asked for a pro rated refund due to the business I have lost based on above issues and got told its working at the moment no refund issue resolved. Wasnt resolved on my books. They sell hosting but cannot provide stable hosting. Should not be in business. Very dishonest.
