  If only I could give 100 stars in this review . . .Not only did the hard drive in my laptop completely fail (I couldn't even turn the computer on), but my backup device had apparently gone bad as well because all the data I tried to retrieve was corrupted.I was beside myself. Twenty-five years of my life gone into 16 Quick Books files from all our different businesses as well as multitudes of HUMONGOUS spreadsheets. All my contracts were feared permanently lost, not even printouts were to be had. Not only could I not sleep and not eat, but frankly suicide was a seriously heavy contemplation for me. I'm an accountant and this is my life's work, literally this is how I manage our lives.There's no way I could re-create most of it. I wasn't able to function.After a week of my local computer repair shop trying to retrieve my data he said, "Send it to Eco Data Recovery in *******, they are amazing."****** was always super confidant and ******* even tirelessly worked the weekend on my hard drive. Everybody kept in great communication about the status of the drive's recovery and even ordered parts for my "really in bad shape hard drive". The diligence and attention to my requests was outstanding. They even did a lot of hand holding for my extreme fearfulness.Then a super happy unexpected surprise! ******* sent me a link to immediately download all my QB files. The files downloaded easily and they all worked like a champ! My new hard drive with all my recovered data, and I do mean ALL of it was recovered, showed up today. Everything is there and works properly.I can't even say enough great things about Eco Data Recovery. In this day and age when service is not always great Eco Data Recovery went over and above in every way. Their business cards are staying on the top of my pile for those that *** be in need in the future. I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you EDR!!!!!***************************, **************, ********

  When my disk drive failed, I called several recovery companies. As soon as I spoke with ECO, I knew I found the right one. 1) They gave me straight answers. When I contacted other data recovery companies, the representative could not tell me where my disk would be processed or even when it would be worked on. 2) I could drop it off at the lab location, so I knew where it would be. Every other company mailed it to a central lab. Of course if you dont live in Florida, this may not be an option, but its still nice to have this choice. 3) The woman I spoke with at ECO couldn't have been nicer. The representatives for other companies did not really seem to care and sometimes were rather rude. 4) Every place hyped their clean room. For most recoveries, as far as I know, you dont need a clean room. And I have with my own eyes observed work performed in a "portable clean room" (I have also heard it called a clean box.) In my opinion this is often superior to a clean room. The smaller environment of the clean box is often easier to control than an entire room and it cost less. And in the end guess who ends up paying the cost of that clean room. 5) They were up front with their costs and how they bill their customers. Other places where rather confusing. I was also able to expedite the recovery process, but it did cost me more (you get what you pay for.) Once I dropped of the disk, they kept me informed of the recoverys progress. And finally, they were able to recover all the data from the damaged disk. In the end all that matters is results, and my results could not have been better. Dave H.
