In 2021 during the re-registration period for the 2021-22-school year I was approached by the school team to re-enroll my kids and was offered a primatial rate for re-enrollment. At the time I asked several question to the school principal and directors due to the uncertainty of my husbands job and the uncertainty of our physical location as well as the risk of school closures due to another wave of Covid-19. The school principal and director assured me that I would be able to obtain (or negotiate) a refund in case my 2 children were unable to attend the school for the following year 2021-22 - we paid for all the books, tablets, event tickets, end of the year book and the full school fees, totalling $34,089 USD. Unfortunately, my husband's brother lost his life and we had to deal with a great deal of grievances, also re-located, because my husband's prior job was taking a toll on his health and wellbeing. On August 2nd, 2021 (see emails), I informed the school Principal and Director (and other parents) of our difficult decision to move to the ******* area, in order for my husband to start a new job, and in oder to us to be able to pay for funeral expenses and provide financial support to his brother's widow and 2 kids, see email chains. The following week, I asked if there was a virtual option, the answer was no and I was cut off from the school ************** / emails. The school principal and director promised a friendly resolution and fee-refund. On the following months, I kept emailing and calling (see emails), and was made aware that other families received their refunds. I also reached out to the Mother ****** the school Interim ******, was promised a meeting and months have passed with no response, no solution, and no information. I would like the school to honor their promise of being ethical and do the right thing. Therefore, we request a full refund for all the payments I did in good faith and with good intentions back in 2021. Thank you!
