1 starDon't let the photos on their website fool you! They do NOT have any renovated rooms! Feel free to look at the photos I have taken of our stay here. Never again! Roaches & no-see-ums in the rooms, some of the furniture has been chewed up by dogs, several rooms have severe mold & mildew due to water damage, the putt putt course? Has alligators & snakes (the lady up front told my sister that nonchalantly, she claimed she's only seen the gator once in the few years she's been working there). I was only able to find 2 ice machines by the rooms, neither of them were working. The front of one was literally hanging off! Our original room had a large mystery stain that looked too much like blood. Do yourself a favor & make your reservations elsewhere! This place needs to be torn down & rebuilt upto code. The day we checked out there was a long line of people in the lobby & EVERY SINGLE ONE HAD Complaints! The lady tlat the desk that morning has a nasty attitude, she was ignoring the people in the lobby, the property manager had to come out to de-escalate the situation. The ONLY positive thing this janky hotel & I truly mean the only thing has going is Ms. Natalia & Mr. Luc. They were so sweet to us!Review fromJacqueline R

If I can give it, no stars, I would. This place was disgusting mildew on the walls. AC was not blowing at all. We called downstairs and they told us it was in maintenance man up maintenance man never came the light to wear the singles that didn’t work there was mildew stains on the floor on the rug then when we call them in the morning, they told us oh well Discount you nine dollars really I have videos and pictures of this place it’s nasty I would not recommend it to nobody and on top of that the lady in the front was rude second she gave me a card and told me to call the owner. I called and left a message for them to call me back into this day a week later haven’t heard anything from nobody.Maingate Lakeside Resort

1 starplease do not waste your money or time with this hotel. The door of the room we were given had obviously been kicked open at some point and because we didn't look at another room we won't be able to get a refund. I quote, "You have to give us a chance to make it right" is exactly what I what told when trying to talk to these people. Oh and they are in the process of replacing the doors. That room never should have been given out. I am not trusting my safety to a hotel that allows a door like that to remain.Review fromHaley R

1 starPlease, please do not waste your money on this place. Their website is full of lies. This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed and I’ve traveled a lot, they claim to be one of the top family resorts in Orlando, one of the worst is more like it. Everything here is closed expect the pool and arcade. I paid $150 resort fee for the week and this is no way a resort, it’s a run down disgustingly dirty motel. It needs condemning. Sheets I think were clean, but full of stains. You have to walk to reception every time you need a clean towel etc. staff were rude. Front doors are so old and flimsy it Doesn’t feel safe. La peor experiencia, reserve para el 24-25FEB2023 reserve mediante una agencia la cual en la factura ya fueron cobrados los impuestos, cuando me presente al hotel me cobraron $50 mas que iban a ser reembolsables, cuando me asignaron la habitación eso era un asco, tenia un olor pésimo algo inhumano, la persona que estaba en la habitación de la par nos comento que ahí vivía una persona que tenia perros y gatos motivo por el cual era el mal olor, no había iluminación eléctrica, las alfombras manchadas, las puertas del interior rasgadas y no servían, fuimos a recepción a informar eso y que nos realizaran un cambio de habitación a lo que indicaron que no podían ya que estaba reservado todo pero que podían poner un ambiental para no sentir el mal olor, a lo que pedimos que nos cancelaran la reserva y nos dieran la reversión del dinero indicaron que podían hacerlo ya que la reserva fue a través de un tercero y ni la estafa de los $50 que nos acaban de cobrar se podían retornar, esa no es una respuesta adecuada para un cliente, si es un sector de turismo eso es lo peor y lo penoso de llamarlo Resort cuando no cumple ni con los requisitos básicos para ser habitable ya que atenta contra la salud de las personas que les visitan. Espero lean mi queja y tomen en consideración esta pésima experiencia con un lugar que ni debería de tener permisos de operación ya que deja en mal el sector turístico del país.

The worst experience, book for FEB 24-25, 2023, book through an agency which taxes were already charged on the invoice, when I showed up at the hotel they charged me $50 more that was going to be refundable, when they assigned me the room that was disgusting, It had a terrible, somewhat inhuman smell, the person who was in the room next door told us that a person who had dogs and cats lived there, which was the reason for the bad smell, there was no electric lighting, the carpets were stained, the doors of the interior torn and not useful, we went to reception to report this and to make us a change of room to which they indicated that they could not since everything was reserved but that they could put an environment so as not to feel the bad smell, to which we asked that they canceled our reservation and gave us the reversal of the money, they indicated that they could do it since the reservation was through a third party and not even the scam of the $50 that they just charged us could not be returned, that is not a Adequate response for a client, if it is a tourism sector, that is the worst and painful thing to call it a Resort when it does not even meet the basic requirements to be habitable since it threatens the health of the people who visit them. I hope you read my complaint and take into consideration this terrible experience with a place that should not even have operating permits since it leaves the country's tourism sector in a bad way.

1 starTHE WORST EXPERIENCE HERE & TAKING MY CHILDREN THERE TO WITNESS THE MOST HORRIBLE THINGS. FROM LISTENING TO ****** **** IN ROOMS THAT ARE CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. TO LISTENING TO FIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT NOT BEING ABLE TO SLEEP. & NOT TO MENTION THE WORST ROOMS, NOT AS DESCRIBED ONLINE. I BOOKED ON AGODA BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WHATS ADVERTISED. THE ODOR OF URINE AND OTHER THINGS IS UNBEARABLE. THE DOORS FALLING OFF THE HINGES, THE MOLD IN THE ROOMS, THE DRAINS CLOGGED. IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. My wife is a post 911 vet who was diagnosed with cancer from working in the burn pits in Iraq, so we needed a room stay of 58 nights so we could be as closes to her treatment facility as possible for the right price so we made the booking online through Webbeds.com for the amount of 3,416.45. After said reservation was made the money was deducted from our account. We needed further assistance requesting a first floor do to her disability, to no avail where we able to get through to the hotel or *******. So after further frustration I decided to make a two hour drive to the facility/hotel. Once arrived, I was given the run arounds for over three hrs being told they have a policy of max stay booking for only fifteen days and that who ever I made the reservation from was a 3rd party that should have never been able to have booked that many stays and I would have to contact them directly for a refund and states that he was able to pull up the reservation and this is after not just a front desk reception and manager said they couldn't find such reservation this gentleman a different manager was able to find it with no problem but yet left me at the front desk to be told the same thing bye the receptionist manager, she was of no help. Finally the gentleman manager emailed me a letter for full refund from *********** and I should contact my bank as well. Stating in the letter (You reservation IS approved full full refund). So we contacted *******, and our bank, as of yet we have not received a refund just we are looking into the situation and will be getting back to me. Well after another 2 1/2 hr drive home with a gas bill of $69.14 USA dollars and 12 hr day of driving, waiting, emails and frustrating confusion we were not happy with any of requests or outcomes of our situation. This morning we received a email from *********** stating we need to contact the hotel for the refund but yet the hotel is telling us we need to contact ***********. I am surprised you are passing on such comments due to your issue with your booking agency. Our staff went out of their way to assist you in everyway possible for well over an hour. Your issue is with your booking agency not the hotel. Please seek your refund through them. There was no runaround other than we advised you we could not accommodate a two month reservation request.

1 starWorse place ever thus should not be called a resort more like a roach motel and bum hang out so I checked in on 5/12/22 first and for most stood in line for 45 mins to check looking out the back door in lobby the back deck had boards missing and broken boards every where very very very poor if not any maintenance website showed restaurant and bar both of those was closed also putt putt coarse looks like it has not been touched in years broken glass on pool deck dirty diaper laying beside pool trash just every where broken pool deck chairs not a single working ice machine on property I counted 6 and none worked killed 4 roaches in room and 2 had egg sacks black mold in bathroom and above sink very dirty carpet gang members walking through parking lot throwing up gang signs I also stepped on a piece of glass in the sand where the kids play ground is and when I asked for my money back the lady at front desk was very rude and when I asked for a manager she said there is not one there so I asked who is her manager and she said she did not know there name then gave a business card for the director of sales group and while in line there was 7 other people trying to cancel there reservation due to pretty much the same situation as me except one said they had bed bugs in there room I demand for all of my money back resort fees and cost to stay there
