    Allens picked up my furniture on 5/2023, today is 4/26/24 I still do not have my furniture. He does not return calls or texts!

    This moving carrier was under a broker company United Movers and Storage. My belongings were picked up in Aug 2023. Did not get to me until Nov 2023. Upon reservation, the broker verbally gave me a 30day timeline for the distance where it will be delivered. It did not come as expected. Was so difficult to reach anyone for updates. Story after story came out as reason for delay. The broker stated that there should be a delay fee, and we will calculate once items has arrived. On the 2nd month of waiting (October), I had to send another payment to have my things delivered within a time frame agreed due to important belongings in their possession. They still failed come promised day of delivery. I got my things delivered in November 2023, that marked the 90day period. I was sent a message with the amount of the delivery fee for payment before unloading. When I asked about the remaining balance for payment considering the delays and the extra amount I sent, ***** said I will have to pay the whole amount coz this is the third party carrier who will deliver my things and they don't have anything to do with the delay. I just felt like I was scammed.
