Worldgate is awful, and I hope no one bothers to do business with them after reading this: After "winning" a free trip, we found out that to redeem it, we had to go to a sales presentation. We knew we didn't want to buy anything but ended up falling victim to their salespeople's lies. We were given a laundry list of perks including free cruises, hotels for us and family members, Disney vacations, and more. The thing that caught our attention was being able to rent our points for additional income, which we later learned is not possible. We wouldn't even be able to cover maintenance fees, let alone have "extra" money. Now it makes sense why the salesperson kept talking and talking and talking- he was trying to make sure we couldn't ask any questions to uncover his lies. By the way, there are sweepstakes laws that prevent companies from telling someone they won a prize and then requiring them to pay something or attend any type of presentation, but it should come as no surprise that Worldgate has no respect for consumer rights.
