They were only with my 7 month year old puppy for a total of 10 minutes. During that 10 minutes the only.female trainer there blew a fire hydrant in my 7 month year old puppies face that made him pee and shake uncontrollably even long after she was gone. After that the lady said my dog was showing signs of fear and aggression and that her partner would have to come out another day and muzzle him to train, which my puppy never showed those signs before this at home training. She was at my house for about maybe 40 minutes and NOT the 2 hours promised on their website. She did zero training except for blowing a fire hydrant in his face which even made my family member who was with me go into complete shock. They are a scam. Then they told me they only take check or cash and when I wrote a check they didn't even put the check # on the receipt, I say that bc they have a box just for that reason that is required for them to fill in so when I tried to do a stop payment with my bank the minute this lady left my house I didn't have the correct check number and unknowingly gave the wrong check number which made the stop payment not work and of course, these scammers cashed my check the very next day. My bank can't refund me the money bc it was a check which is the reason why these people make it a habit to only take checks or cash or they did with me at least. When both my mother and myself contacted them to request an immediate refund of my money they refused and said they would only come back out if I muzzled my dog and a new trainer came. None of that is in the agreement. In the agreement during the first visit they are supposed to stay a minimum of 2 hours, which did not occur bc the trainer couldn't handle my 6 montb year old puppy and left early breaking the agreement. The "trainer" also stated she couldn't go through with the training that day bc there was another dog in the house and she said he would have to be put through it too. That was NEVER told to us beforehand and bc he was an older dog my other family member said no and put him in the other room. That wasn't good enough and the lady stated the training was over. They did not do ANYTHING that they promised and made up new rules as she went along. I have talked to other dog trainers who were taken back that a fire hydrant was fully blown in my puppies fact. I lost out on $399 for NOTHING. I asked for my money back bc they never came back out and didn't honor their agreement and the other trainer was verbally abusive and flat out refused when both my motber and myself contacted him for a refund. As a disabled veteran, I am appalled by their ethical practices and I do not know how they can look at themselves in the mirror! That was alot of money for me bc I don't have much income bc of my disabilities! I have the user agreement which states they will be there for 2 hours for the first Initial visit and my mother has text messages showing the trainer stating she had to terminate the training prematurely bc of the reasons I stated above. My $399 should be refunded bc all they really did was cause my dog to shake uncontrollably and pee on himself during the 10 minutes she spent with him. This business needs to be looked into extensively bc they're also running the same type of dog training in Ireland and they just opened up another dog business selling products.

My recent experience with Pawfections Dog Training was, in my opinion, below the standards of professionalism and customer service. After I paid a large amount for lifetime service I was informed when I had an is*** with my dog that they only follow up with is***s originally discussed at the initial time of meeting; SO A WORD TO THE WISE: BRING UP EVERY POSSIBLE BEHAVIORAL ISSUE THAT A DOG COULD HAVE AND VIDEO RECORD THE ENCOUNTER. However, this not stated on the receipt that they insisted I sign and they consider a contract. I was given a can of pet corrector and advised to purchase a prong collar for pulling is***s. In recent conversations with Pawfections I was told if I speak of my unhappiness with their service they will *** me for slander. I am only complaining about the personal in-home service Pawfections offer. I don't have any idea of their group training sponsored at a park in Oviedo. My dog and I received poor service, lack of care and response for our needs.

    Pawfection Dog Training, LLC Response

The issues that we were hired to fix were fixed to the customers satisfaction as evidenced by the receipt she signed stating that she was happy with the service and that the training met or exceeded her expectations. When she called us a week later with a separate issue we responded immediately even calling her from a cruise ship in the middle of the ********* Sea! We advised her that the issue (her dog jumping a fence while off ***** was easily solved by her not breaking the law and allowing her dog to be off leash in public. This reviewer also stated that the dog jumped the fence at the dog park when she left it unattended to go to the bathroom (also owner error) this reviewer was extremely abusive on the phone and despite this we still offered her sound advice for the issue we were never asked to fix in the first place. This reviewer is now slandering our name with untruths in as many places as she can. Despite this we stand by our guarantee to assist her with any advice or support for the issues we were hired to fix. She also didnt tell us that she uses a shock collar on her dog.
