BEWARE!! This is the worst company and the worst people to rent from. **** ***** is an awful manager, she is a *****, unprofessional and yells at you all the time. In the 3 years we rented, we took care of the apartment as if it were ours. We didn't even put things on the walls, I have before and after photos and we left it better than when we received it. When we decided to move, they charge us for everything and ridiculous costs. Dealing with this company is a pain, they never answer the phone, they give you random emails and refuse everything. They tell you that your photos or videos are not valid for them. At the end of the day I ended up paying unfair charges to finish dealing with them. All the positive reviews are absolutely Fake!, this is the worst real estate agency in all of *******. If I were to tell everything in this review I wouldn't finish. 0 stars! Do your business else were! Check all the bad reviews first, that the truth about this company!Legends Realty

One of the biggest responsibilities of a professional property management company is imposing claims against a tenants security deposit. We thoroughly document the property before, during and after occupancy. We video tape, take digital pictures, perform bi-annual property reviews which included hundreds of pictures and written reports and communicate directly with the owner. Once we receive written notification from a tenant of their intent to vacate the property at the end of their lease, we provide the tenant with a move out packet which includes a checklist to assist in this process. Our goal is for a residence move-out to be as quick and pleasant as possible and for you to receive back all or most of your deposit. All security deposit claims are backed with visual and written documentation. Once the tenants vacated a proper security deposit claim was made and processed. We believe online reviews to contain false information, mis-leading statements, or flat out lies about Legends Realty, our policies, or our team members. We also believe that negative reviews posted online are a form of retribution for most reviewers to attempt to intentionally harm Legends Realty or their team members. In our experience, we have seen reviewers seek to extort money or concessions from Legends Realty by threatening us with online reviews or offer to willingly remove these reviews if we give the reviewer what they want. This is extortion and Legends Realty will not be cyber-bullied. Our position as a *************************** puts us between the two most important things of most people their home, and their money. This causes a lot of emotions which leads to embellishment of even the most minor of details. It is unfortunate to see a review that is less than positive, but we also know it is impossible in such a people focused business to please everyone. We do our very best to provide an excellent service to all of our owners and tenants but apologize if we are unable to meet the expectations of all people. Should this reviewer want to address these issues with us directly in more detail, we are always reachable and agreeable to address any of their concerns via phone or email. Thank youReview fromN. R.

This company goes out of there way to make money on renters they do not care about renters at all. I moved out on September 30th the town home we moved out of was left clean empty we have video of how clean we left it because we didn't want to leave any room for our deposit to be kept and is the right thing to do, well with all efforts to leave place nice legendrealty decided that they won't give us back all our deposit they said they had to charge for vendors to do touch ups on wear and tear stuff that was an issue when we got town home and was never corrected because they wanted renter to come out of pocket. We where given home not freshly painted with marks on wall from former renters Picture frames were hanging dirty walls in certain areas when we ask for pain or Painters to be sent they said no that that would come out of our pocket But yet they're trying to charge us for touch up paint. The person acting for owner reach out to us to fix AC issues because they where charging owner outrageous amount of money for AC repair and when we allowed owner entry to fix AC things went down hill for us they took it out on us and now trying to make us pay. I try calling to slove issue and I was spoken to in rude manner rushed off phone and told to put it written email to only be told no your not getting full refund. Unprofessional none Compassionate rude nasty company.Legends Realty

Our goal is for a residence move-out to be as quick and pleasant as possible and for you to receive back all or most of your deposit. The items referenced in the review as the condition of the property when they moved in were in fact not from their move in. This is evident in our move in video but, were made a part of the tenants file as damage caused by the reviewer during their tenancy when Legends Realty performed our first bi-annual property review on their premises. Once the tenant’s vacated a proper security deposit claim was made and processed. I do not lie I was given a small portion of my deposit back, you kept the rest and I was told by the person who acts for owner you charged them the same amount you took from my security and told them is for unpaid vendors I have a text to prove this conversation. I was a good tenant I paid my rent on time and I cleaned the place really good before I left and gave keys back. You kept my money unjustified and they are many reviews on legends that say you did same exact thing to others, you are famous for keeping deposit from renters.Review fromsteve k

Legends Realty kept $1550 of my $2895 damage deposit. They claimed that the carpets needed to be cleaned after I had Stanley Steamer come in right after we moved out. That cost us $300 to clean all carpeted rooms, stairs and landings. They apparently charged us for incomplete warranty work that they or the owner never followed up on. This was a brand new townhouse with several issues including a toilet that leaked into the the circuit breaker panel and black mold developed. This required a professional removal and treatment and replacing some of the dry wall. Legends never followed up with the builder to make sure the job was complete. It appears that we were charged for painting the repaired area in the garage. The townhouse had a leak either through the slab or block in the garage. Water would enter into the garage and left a stain on the concrete floor. We reported this to them and again they never followed up with the owner or the builder to get this repaired. I'm not positive but it appears that we were charged for that cleaning that as well. In my opinion the tenant should report these issues on the owners behalf but not be responsible for a lack of follow-up by Legends. We kept the townhouse very clean and didn't hang any TV's or pictures to avoid paying the repair cost. I feel like we were cheated out of $1000 by this company and will never use their services again.Legends Realty

Carpets - after receipt of the tenants notice to vacate we sent the move out packet the tenants received on 03-08-2023. The move out packet states in part:
Often tenant's request that we arrange for the professional carpet cleaning or general cleaning since that is usually
the last items to be done. We are willing to do that but the cost will be deducted from your security deposit. Please call us
if you want to schedule this service. If you choose to arrange the cleaning yourself keep in mind the lease requires two
things: a) The cleaning must be done by a professional carpet cleaning company, and b) the carpets must actually be
clean. Sometimes tenants hire vendors who do an unsatisfactory job and the tenant ends up paying twice, one to the
vendor they hired, and later a claim against the deposit for re-cleaning. If that happens you will not be given credit for the
cost of an unsatisfactory cleaning job. Furthermore, Legends Realty can not "callback" the vendor you hire regardless of
what guarantee they offer.Furthermore, the tenants were charged for cleaning, carpet cleaning, touch up paint throughout the property, light bulbs, trash out, threshold repair and toilet seats. Which was documented in their claim against the deposit sent to them.
The tenants were not charge for any owner responsible items and the tenant stated issue with the home was completed.
We have the documents, move-in video, pictures from bi-annual property reviews and move out report to substantiate all claims.
No further claim is due.

Terrible organization. Poor customer service. Poor communication with property owners. Don’t return calls or emails most of the time. Rarely answers their phones. Looks for creative ways to increase their own revenues through hokey expensive programs like filter replacement. Don’t let them schedule repairs on anything. Uses questionable vendors . Use your own known vendors and save money. I don’t recommend this company as they trap you in a long term contract that of course benefits themselves and provides the owner with little choices.Legends Realty

Legends Realty managed the owners property for five years. Approximately 105 days prior to each annual lease renewal the owner was sent a letter asking if he wanted to renew the existing tenant. With each request the lease was extended. The only tenant we managed in this property resided in the property from 04-16-2018 until 03-10-2023. The tenant within 30 days of moving in submitter 2 work orders. One for a non working AC and another for a minor tear in the pool screen. The only expense the owner ever had due to repairs was for $90.00 in the 5 years years of management. This was due to the owner inserting himself into the relationship and telling the tenants to only speak with him. Our office provides an every 6 months property review in which we take pictures of the property and upload the pictures to the owners portal for their review. The owner sent notice to our office after the first property review (6 months after the lease start date) that he did not want this service even though there was no additional charge to the owner, this service is included in our management agreement. Once again inserting himself and not allowing our office to enter the property. As for communications, per our records of call logs and emails, all were responded to in a timely manner during our normal business hours.
