I searched the website under VRBO and found a property located at **************, Kissimmee, Florida that my family and I agreed on renting for a trip to Disney. The reservation was confirmed on Monday, November 8 via an email I received at 9:11 pm. The property was #**********, Reservation **********. We were to arrive on December 23, 2021 and depart on December 27, 2021 for 4 nights with 6 adults and 2 children. The charge including all fees was *******, which was paid. I receive notification that my payment had been received and a trip cancellation protection fee for $***** was also paid. **************************** # ***********. I receive a confirmation letter for the travel protection. Coastal Palms Vacation Rentals sent a contract for me to sign which I did. I sent the signed contract, a selfie of me with my id and my driver's license. I also asked about my daughter arriving earlier than 4:00 pm because her flight arrived very early and was told that we could not enter the facility until 4:00 pm on December 23, 2021 via email.
I was to get notification within 10 days of arrival about directions and entry. I did not received notification and emailed Coastal Palms Vacation to see what was going on. The representative emailed me on December 20 apologizing for the delay and indicating she was waiting for the updated code from the owner. She indicated that she would send this evening.
On December 21 I received information on the rental. It was not the property I requested. We were assigned to a location ************** not the **************. I had booked. I asked Coastals Palm Rentals why we were not placed in the property we requested and why we were not informed of the change. The representative emailed that the air conditioner "is not functioning and needs to be repair." Note that this was the first time that I ever requested property from VRBO and not received what I requested.
