1 starTaking advantage of people is what this company is. We are trying to get back on our feet after job loss. Vehicle is valued at $4200 we owe $16,000 to start off been making payments for nearly a year already. Then after purchasing the vehicle the radiator went out their warranty didnt cover it because it was stated we broke the lip of the radiator off. We did not break anything. Spent $1600 to have it repaired the mechanic informed us the bumper was glued on as well as the headlight glued in there were missing bolts on the front frame of the vehicle. So we were sold an expensive money pit to begin with then we put insurance on the vehicle with 1000 deductible. It isnt even worth the value of the insurance we put on it they just informed us that since March we were charged for their insurance of $49.95 each payment since March stating we didnt have insurance which we did and have proof and because we didnt have a 500 deductible serious I have insurance was not told about 500 deductible none the less as you see the vehicle isnt even worth the money we are spending to insure the vehicle. Seems they are causing even more burden on our already hurtful situation. We have obtained employment now and trying to recover but with companies like mid ******* they hurt people who are already hurting. Rip off scam artist taking advantage of people having a hard time. We are paying and working to recover yet this is what we have to deal with. Sad. Steer clear of ******* and Mid Florida finance company you will get ripped offReview fromLatoya S

1 starI am writing to express my serious concerns regarding my recent experience with your company, which I believe reflects deceptive and unethical practices.I was two days late on a payment of approximately $350. I contacted a representative and informed her that I would be making the payment either by the end of the day or, at the latest, by the end of the week. At no point during this conversation was I informed that the vehicle had already been scheduled for repossession. This lack of transparency was misleading and unfair.Shortly afterward, I discovered that the vehicle had already been picked up. I then called to inquire about resolving the issue by paying the outstanding balance and any applicable towing fees. Initially, I was told that since this was my first payment, the financing arrangement was null and voidI accepted that explanation. However, during the same call, I was informed that while I would be refunded my $2,000 deposit, I "might not receive the full amount" because the vehicle was now out of state. When I questioned the logic of a potential $2,000 towing fee from ******* to ******** distance of just a few hoursI was told that I could even end up in the negative due to the cost of the tow. This statement is highly questionable and suggests either gross mismanagement or deliberate misinformation.Based on this series of events and conflicting statements, I strongly believe your companys actions are misleading and border on fraudulent. As a consumer, I feel deceived and financially exploited. I am requesting a full and immediate refund of my deposit and a formal investigation into the handling of my account.Should this matter not be resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate this complaint to the appropriate consumer protection agencies and consider legal action.Sincerely,Review fromShannon J

1 starI paid off the late fee on my account on 1-21-25 and they informed me they would start processing my lien release the very same day as the vehicle was totaled. I called on 1-27-24 to get a lien release form and was advised they dont do this unless I am out of state. Copart is asking for this form so I am sure this is a normal thing. I am trying to get my lien released or the document this lender should be providing me.Review fromStephen H

I have electronic auto bill pay coming from my US Bank account. Somehow 3 months later they say that checks were returned to my US Bank account, although they show cleared from my bank. My US Bank personnel are now disputing the charges. I mean never go with such a corrupt criminal enterprise.Midflorida Financing, LLC

No amount of stars can even justify this company. Where do I start, car was purchased in May. Ive only literally had the car for a month, I put a down payment of 1500 and was told i would have to pay an additional $500 was would be broken into 2 payments of $250 over the next two weeks. The payments were paid only to find out that they added their own insurance which was not discussed for an additional $49. My first real car payment was due on 5/31 however I had to get a new bank account which resulted in my payment being 4 days late. I came out to go to work today and my car had been repossessed for this reason. I called they gave me the run around and told me that i needed to send in proof that i received a new account and i did just for me to call them back hours later for them to tell me they would not give me the car back unless i paid cash for the vehicle or if i found another bank. They arent willing to give my deposit back and is now trying to charge me $75 to get my belongings out of the vehicle. Im a single mother of 4 kids, this is not right! Why has no one sued this company yet?!Midflorida Financing, LLC

Purchased with Ok Carz at the END of February..not even 2 weeks later the car engine light comes on. Bring the Car to **************** where they honor OK Cars Warranty and I was told almost EVERY car in their lot needing repairs is from OK CARZ! AFTER A WEEJ WITHOUT ANY REPAIRS AND HAVING TO GET A LAST MINUTE RENTAL I decided to take my car somewhere else for repairs . I WAS TOLD Over THE Phone THAT RHEY CANNOT MAKE ANY ARRANGEMENTS ON MY 1ST 2 PAYMENTS OF 349 BUT WOULD BE ABLE TO PUSH MY 3RD ONE BACK FOR LATER DATE SINCE MY CAR WAS SITTING AT *********** after only TWO WEEKS!!!! Today is March 28th they towed my car 2 days ago because I was 5 days late on my 3rd payment...I am Getting a Lawyer **** and we will be in contact.. If ALL of their reviews say the sane thing why are they as well as OK CARZ still in Business? This is wrong on every level. I already paid to repair 3 tires that already went bad . The lower control arm is going completely bad and the tired were already bushing and they come repo.me and my.kids vehicle after 5 days late? My lawyer will definitely be in touchMidflorida Financing, LLC

1 starMy wife reached out to Mid Florida financing to find out why vehicle had not been repossessed after calling in requesting recovery . Spoke with ***** who is apparently the head supervisor who lied and stated they reached out to the warranty department on Jan 10 and was advised that the claim had already been approved and they were denied recovering the vehicle until claim was finished . My wife contacted the warranty department who advised us that the warranty had not been approved until the 16th and the invoice was not emailed / sent over until the 19th . ***** has been doing a lot of lying and she was advised prior to the claim being approved that the car was being turned in . ***** stated to my wife that she should not provide any documentation until the vehicle was back in their possession. ***** stated the repossession date did not stand until the 21st of January which is not what was told to my wife . My wife was notified that recovery was in route . ***** stated she had no right to contact my wife regarding the warranty process because we decided to walk away from the vehicle but it was still fixed under a warranty that was suppose to be closed out and on a vehicle that was supposed to be repossessedReview fromBrooklyn M

1 starI put $2,500 down on a car, they repossessed it after 13 days because the dealership wrote 1# down wrong on my auto pay info…I was 1 day late on my first car payment (literally had it 13 days!!) due to dealer error & they kept the vehicle and took 85% of my down payment for “repo fees” major scammers!!!Review fromTracy S

1 starWorst finance company I’ve ever dealt with if ok carz had a different finance company it would be better off!! They are verrry unprofessional, money hungry , and the repo policy is ridiculous for the smallest amount of money, cpi insurance is crap because they don’t know how to separate the car note from the cpi insurance payment just all the out of sync…. Mind I the repossessed my daughters car for $100 that was for insurance that they put all on her car knowing that it’s for car and insurance and wanted her to pay the extra 100 that sorely their responsibility to make sure everything is paid and separate so while they slack on their end they will blame the customer instead, so basically doing the right thing and paying ahead isn’t a good thing with this company and I forgot no grace period to make a payment…. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!
