I should have looked at Polk County sheriffs web site before hiring him. He has a long criminal record. Stupid me. This guy scam me of 1,750 dollars of a deposit to paint my cabinets doors, install new flooring in my kitchen 350 sqf of clip on flooring vinyl tiles. plus hang my cabinets. He came in the first day only to pick up the deposit. The next day he and his helper took down my old cabinets. He left at noon.The 3 day he put up 4 cabinets. ( he put them up upside down.) He left by noon. The 4 day he took the 4 cabinets he had installed and put them up side up. But now they were all crooked. He left to go get lunch about noon and never came back. I text and call and he text back he was in the hospital that he was getting discharged. Next day same text and that he was coming in the next day. It never happened. The next text he said he was in hospital going to get surgery. I saw him that day a a traffic light in my neighborhood. I had a friend called him and he told her to text him her address so he can go give her and estimate. I text him about this finding and he started saying how I was changing everything and that the work I wanted would take him 3 months to complete. That for me to make up my mind what I wanted. I kept saying to him I didn't change anything. Well he kept my deposit, left me without a kitchen and in real distress. he lies and wants to make you believe is all your fault. he lies.and lies about everything. I had to hire someone else who did the work in 5 days. Not 3 months like he stated it would take him. The new guys had to take the cabinets he installed down. They said I needed new drywall and installed it all in 5 days. Save your self a headache. Don't hire this guy.
