We put a 1,000.00 deposit down on a recreational vehicle (motorhome with 6 heavy duty tires) to a total sum 11,577.88. We have not/will not paid/pay the remaining balance of 10,577.88 as we requested (still have buyers order, all emails). The tires are expired by the Department of Transportation stamp of 2015. The tires are nearly a decade old, and as a semi-retired tow truck operator! I know they are a direct violation of D.O.T. regulations! Making them a liability of life risk should they hit the road. I will not make that commitment, and requested a refund of our deposit! Mark E. Is the incompetent onwer/sales representative! We are still waiting for it, and I am praying that this begins the demise of yet another unscrupulous Polk County Corrupted Practice! They certainly could care less if they kill us, or anyone else! May they burn in "what's that Lassie, Timmy fell in a well"....

6/12/23. Received a deposit from customer after a visual inspection of the coach which was offered for sale AS IS 6/13/23 The money cleared this morning, I am moving it around now to go to TD Bank tomorrow to get a cashier's check to bring to you the full balance after we finish the processes. Wanted to update you, and am eagerly looking forward to hearing the engine run, generator, and feel the transmission shift. Also need to look in the engine carriage. I noticed the generator leaks pretty good, but if it runs. I am satisfied with it as the RV will get a solar conversion! If the road test is no Bueno, or that generator is faulty. Direct was our best option, both drivers (Kristina and Myself) are listed, and we got 50,000 in BI, PD, Comp Collision. Not sure if we are getting UM, but I know we need it and the pricing is excellent for recreation! We have established insurance with Direct and also have our appointment tomorrow for it! Now to the bank for the money and hopefully take ownership of it pending road tests etcetera. I am concerned with tires, age, and safety. How long has it been sitting, and do we know the tire dates. I don't trust them, and it's not D.O.T. safe if the tires are expired! I have a family to keep safe! Regards, Pete Adkins 6/14/23 The tire dates are 07/15 so the tires should probably be replaced, but they are not dry rotted or cracked because they were under cover. I can check my tire store and get you some prices to consider if you would like. They are 225/70r 22.5. or 8R 19.5 and they should be about 200.00 each. Let me know if I can help. Thanks, Mark 6/15/23 We're here at home, and were yesterday too. We waited for an answer concerning DOT date of tires. We can't take ownership if they are expired. Against D.O.T. regulations to drive it, and I am a part time towtruck driver. It's how I know the regulation. We just want our family to be safe spending 11,500.00 dollars. 6/15/23 I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau for illegal practice! 6/15/23 I love rhetoric attempts at corruption! Let me make this clear, Mark! There is no law making it illegal to sell it with those DOT violated tires. You will however get sued if someone loses a life, is injured, and your business practice closes. Which at this point, I am praying happens. You're a liability by your wrong doings which in the court of law. Make you responsible! Anyone willing to jeopardize others people's lives obviously deserves the same or worse, and I am starting the process of ruining your business! Still have to contact Ashley Moody, Florida's Attorney General. You messed with the right consumer, sir! On Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 02:33:29 PM EDT, Pete ****** 6/20/23 Customer disputed the charge on his card (he was given a credit on the 15th five days ago,) I suspect he is attempting to get double his money quite a scam. I don’t think Fountain RV did anything incorrect in this transaction, the customer seems to be a little unusual and I would warn other individuals to not do business with him to protect yourselves,

Cute that someone from Fountain RV responded stating the Customer is trying to get double their deposit back, and we actually bought another class A motorhome for 1,000.00 more on the price tag with brand new tires that aren't expired for nearly a decade. Fountain RV can call me what they want. I'm not the one changing the subject to deflect the real issue here, dear! We hadn't received a refund the day of the bbb filing, nor a communication about it. We have received it since the review came back, and it's not possible to get a double deposit back ******. Bbb steps in to try and ensure businesses return it, and you did. We still bought a newer, nicer, class a motorhome elsewhere. Buyer beware!
