    My Galaxy S23 Ultra was brought into Mobile Xpress Fix on October 1st, 2023, for a cracked screen replacement. Upon the repair I paid $200 dollars cash, when going through the functions to make sure the phone was in working condition it was found that the front and rear cameras were not working as well as the fingerprint scanner which reads “The fingerprint sensor is not responding, try again later”. The worker informed me that they would order a new camera and that the fingerprint would be repaired when the camera was being fixed. The cell phone was brought in on October 6th, 2023, to have the camera and fingerprint repaired. When taking the case off the phone it unveiled a 1.5-inch yellow circle where the worker had burnt the back of the phone with a heat gun. The worker showed me what had happened and said they would replace the back panel of the phone. They said the phone would be repaired in 1 hour, upon arriving to pick up the phone the fingerprint scanner still did not work, and the back panel was not strongly secure to the back of the phone. When confronting the employee about the issue he shrugged his shoulders and said, “It's not my problem.” With concerns about the phone not having the fingerprint scanner, I brought it to another well-known tech repair shop May I Fix It Inc. The shop owner informed me that there were missing connectors for the finger scanner. He could not go more in-depth with trying to find a fix due to the sub board being too difficult to get out, even though this is a piece that should slide out easily it said to be potentially glued down and would risk further damage to the phone trying to remove it. I had wondered if this could cause more potential issues in the future if any work were needed on the phone and he informed me that it could make the job nearly impossible if anything else needed to be replaced in this section of the phone. It was also noted that my phone had been running slower starting on October 1st after receiving my phone back. This was said to also potentially be from the employee overheating the phone. After receiving my phone back on October 6th, 2023, my microphone is no longer working properly either. There had been no issues other than the phone screen being cracked prior to October 1st, 2023. Moving forward, I did not feel comfortable bringing my not even 6-month-old phone back to the other repair shop for reconciliation nor would they be able to fix the issues that I am currently having with the phone. I have let multiple employees know that I would like to be in contact with the owner of the establishment for a refund of the $200 as well as $1600 dollars for my phone that is no longer working properly and according to another expert could not be fixed. The owner will not return my request for a phone call and has ignored messages I have sent to his direct line to try and rectify this issue.
