    I brought a 2015 Jeep compass in for service. On January 12 2014 at 7 AMI told him that the jeep compass had low miles and it wasnt really driven that much and that it hasnt had a lot of serious repairs. He said thats good then I showed The representative where one of my engine lights came on saying that it was the electronic throttle body sensor. I told the guy , that I just want to get that fixed because this matter was causing me to have power loss, which is not safe also, if not fixed, More expensive repairs He also told me that it would be $160 just to bring it in for him to work on and that I will get the money back if I decide to fix the problem he later said that I need to give him $360 Instead of the $160 Also said I needed an oil change. So when he said that I needed the oil change or actually, how did the valve cover gasket look? He said it was good. He was doing everything, but what I asked him to do I did not ask him to even look at that part of the engine, just to fix the problem The price was so expensive to get my 2015 jeep compass fixed I told him that Ill come and get the Jeep and take it so I told him that I would just come Ill come and get the Jeep compass when I was ringing out at the cash register he told me that it would be $404.46 and then includes tax which he never mention also he said that this includes shop towels, miscellaneous products Which is not fair to the customer to pay for these items I talked with him to see can he do a price adjustment or take these items off but he said he couldnt do it so I wasnt able to get any kind of resolution at that Time he was not reasonable he was not a nice person. He didnt care he just wanted the money. He was quite smug. I explained to him when I brought the vehicle in that this was my childrens mother car and she has to take them to school and work herself. This is terrible. I wasnt able to get the car I got off late he told me I could pick Monday weekends theyre not open

    On February, 2024 *************************** brought his 2015 Jeep Compass in to Aamco Transmission, for a diagnostic check for ABS module, oil leaks, CEL, valve cover gasket and an oil change. He authorized the initial diagnostic fee of $115.00 by his signature on the customer reception form, which he was told would be credited to any recommended repairs if he authorized the said repairs, if not he would be responsible for the diagnostic fee plus shop supplies and tax should he decline the recommended repairs. After the initial diagnostics was completed the customer was informed that his vehicle need more advanced diagnostics and a smoke test for the sum of $360.00 plus shop supplies and tax which he authorized verbally by way of his date of birth 09/30/1965. Upon completion of the advanced diagnostics and the smoke test the customer was informed that he need an ABS module, Throttle Body with gasket and an oil change for which he was given a quote for of $2436.22 plus shop supplies plus tax, the customer declined the repairs and was therefore charged for the advanced diagnostics and smoke test the sum of $404.46 as can be seen on the Repair Order # ****** when he signed for on 02/05/2024. This process was thoroughly explained to the customer if he declined any recommended repairs he would be responsible for the diagnostics and smoke test charges. Here at Aamco Transmission we treat our customer fairly and this case was no different.
