This hospital sent a bill to collections ($158.00) without ever sending the bill to me. I asked the billing department and they claim they sent numerous statements...I never received them but yet the bill from collections came right on time. I want retribution.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/11/05) */ Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take seriously the responsibility of investigating your concerns. A thorough review has been completed. Our attempt to notify the complainant of our findings was unsuccessful. During our investigation, we noticed the complainant had a different address on this complaint than what is in our system. Our process includes sending two statements to the known address. In this case, our records indicate that we sent two statements and made multiple phone calls. When the mail was not returned, we did not think there was an address change or to initiate a return mail process. Instead of resending two more statements to the new address, we have removed the complainant from collections and the account balance is now zero. It is important that the complainant is in receipt of this response, so he is aware of our findings and outcome. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our system strives to provide excellent clinical care to our patients, and we also want to be recognized as providing sensitive and compassionate care. Thank you for reaching out.
