AUDIT SYSTEMS (AS) has been calling my home phone numerous times each week and often multiple times in the same day. I have no business, financial, or personal business with AS. Several times in the past, I answered these calls and there was no response from AS; consequently we blocked their number. After I missed the call today, I decided to try and call them again and to my surprise I got to talk to someone. They informed me that they were working to collect an outstanding debt and started to solicit personal information - name, DOB. address, etc. They refused to share any information about why they were calling or who the debtee was. After multiple calls and surrendering my name (=to their person of interest), my DOB (=to their person of interest) and my address (not= to mine - unknown to me - in a different state). They also provided incorrect insurance companies- primary and secondary for their person of interest. AS harassed my family and wasted my time.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/13) */ We do have business with you in our office, that is why we mailed letters and also have made calls to you. The nature of our business we also have to verify we are speaking to the correct person prior to telling anyone on the phone your business, I apologize you do not like that but we have laws to follow to do our job. We have removed your phone number and your business will remain unresolved. Thank you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) AUDIT SYSTEM INC (ASI) NEVER left a single message on my voice mail and NEVER sent ma any mail. The information that they were acting on was spurious. The attitude and demeanor of their representatives was negative and adversarial. After multiple calls to ASI, I was able to solicit enough information to contact their customer (********** ******** and resolve the issue completely. ASI does not have business with me in their office and should never have contacted me at all. If they had left messages and/or had people call me instead of utilizing ROBO-calls the confusion could have been resolved all most immediately. ASI is incompetent and should not be in business. I strongly suggest that companies utilizing them are wasting their time and money. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/09/20) */ None of this compliant is true. It would be redundant to keep going back and forth at this point. The Client that placed you in our office has requested we return the account due to their error. Have a good day. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2021/09/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) ASI is wrong. In today's environment, it is not only stupid, but dangerous to give out PI to a stranger on the phone or internet. I was the wrong **** ****** - the address and insurance for the **** ****** ASI was trying to contact was incorrectly associated with my account. I WANT AN APOLOGY - especially for the repetitive ROBO-CALLS - at least an occasional human call could have possibly resolved this issue. ASI is a small, inept company that should not be in business.
