We had a Pro Appliance tech come to our home a month ago to repair 3 appliances. The tech repaired 2 of 3 appliances and did not attempt to the third which was the dryer. The tech stated that the dryer needed to be removed from the top of the washer and that the dryer vent needed to be cleaned. This would have been done expeditiously if he had stated that upon arrival or if we had been prepped prior to his arrival. The dryer vent was clean at the time of the visit. The tech never assessed whether the dryer vent was actually blocked up but proceeded to submit a report to American Home Shield that the dryer was not being properly maintained due to clogged dryer vent which led to a denial of coverage. I tried to sort this out with this company but to no avail. Additionally, when the tech arrived he had a very poor attitude which I picked up and stayed out of the way. My husband is a very patient person and he picked up that the tech did not really want to work either. Im all for small businesses but when you send lazy people to do a job it will reflect poorly on your business. I would not recommend this tech to anyone. I wish I knew his name because I hate for a company to suffer because of an employee who was having a bad day mentally.

Can i give negative stars?? These guys Suck!! Just read the reviews and realize everyone thinks they stink! We had to use them with our Home warranty, they did the video call and then we waited and waited.......3 weeks and no reply, nothing....... We contacted our home warranty company they said that our problem was determined to be not covered as we had "storm" damage?? Every single electrical appliance in our house works!! They determined on a video call, (never came to see the item) that we had storm damage to our cooktop on the 2nd floor of our house? If you ever have to use these guys with home warranty my advise - complain like **** and make sure you don't use them!! Ever!! they really do suck and i should have read the reviews before letting my warranty company use them!!

Need to be able to give zero stars, first you require a video call to confirm it the washing machine doesnt work and ordered parts from that July 22nd and the tech gave a window for August 7 between 2-5. Tech arrived around 3pm and stated since washing machine wasnt in place he couldn't work on it. I said give me 5 mins Ill swap it out, he said nope Im leaving my boss told me not to bother with it.I couldnt wake weeks for a repair so I borrowed a friends machine. Poor poor customer service. **** **** ******** **** ******

Horrible company Horrible - no customer service. You have to go through a video call to diagnose and they will reject if you do not have a specific model number waste of time. The technicians do not know anything in fact break the appliances more. This will leave the application broken and you will have to put in another ticket and start the process all over again. WORST EXPERIENCE AND COMPANY. If I can post a negative star I would.

We are a middle man for a warranty company and abide by all policies in both our and your contract with them. The "video-chat" is a video diagnostic program run through your warranty company, and we are required to submit this information to your warranty in order for any parts to be ordered or repair to be authorized.

When you called us after our 8/24 appointment to let us know that your washer was fixed, but the dryer that you submitted on the same ticket was still having an issue, we tried to inform you that you would need to place a recall ticket for it as the work order was already closed. We tried explaining to you that the recall is free of charge and it allows us to come back out and take another look. However you did not want to listen to us, instead threatening our receptionist who ended the call after you stated "YOU.WILL.PAY!!".

You could, and still can, place a recall for this work order an have someone come take another look free of charge. You have until 9/25 to do so, as this is the 30 day window that is allowed for recalls. We would like to state again that we are a middle man, and so we cannot place this recall for you.

Any and all other complaints regarding this work order should be directed to you warranty.

No surprise, after reading these reviews, but ProAppliance has twice required a Screen Video meeting to look at the freezer that was frosting up inside, and twice sent a technician to "Fix" the issue. Both times they refused to replace the door seal and made us leave the unit unplugged for 24-hours, doors open and unit completely thawed. Then, close the doors, replug and leave unopened for another 24-hours. So, 48 hours without the use of the refrigerator and this was somehow going to fix the issue. Twice we tried this tactic and big surprise, it didn't work either time! When I pressed the owner, Joe, during our last Screen video meeting to tell me what he was going to do differently this time to fix the issue, as I didn't see how trying the same tactic would do any good, he just kept dodging the question, insisting that they were just going to fix it. The Facebook page for this company says "no games", which is total BS. I filed my request for service with American Home Shield on May 25th. It is now July 13th, the freezer is still not fixed and Joe is refusing to return my call. American Home Shield didn't do anything for me when I first complained about ProAppliance about a month ago, and today the representative of AHS told me that they will wait to hear from the "tech". They will give him 24 BUSINESS HOURS to get back to them, so basically another 3 business days, meaning 5 calendar days! Meanwhile, my tenant, at 72-year-old widow, who is trying to get her life back into some order, is left without a working freezer. Believe these reviews, no one answers the phone, they rarely, if ever, return phone calls, they wait to schedule a technician for when they will "be in the area", so you will almost always wait about 5 to 7 days. American Home Shield should be ashamed of having this company on its list of contractors, given the number of complaints here and on the BBB website. Goes to show you how little American Home Shield cares about its policy holders.

The video diagnostic program is run through your warranty company, and is part of both your contract with them and their contract with us, we are obligated to abide by it. As for the door seal, it was in good condition on both of the home visits of 6/09 and 7/11. Per your warranty we cannot replace it if it is in good condition and can be resealed. When a freezer has ice build up on the inside, it has to be manually defrosted, there is no other way to get the ice out, other than to thaw it. We understand that you feel like communication is lacking, however we can see correspondence on 5/26, 5/30, 6/7, 6/9, 6/22, 6/26 , 6/27, 6/30, 7/3, 7/5, 7/7, 7/10, and 7/11. We are a company that works on a tight schedule to ensure that we can help everyone in a appropriate time-line given by the warranty.

The rest of this complaint should be directed towards the warranty company and we would advise you to reach out the them with any further comments or concerns.

This company is a big scam. You cannot get in touch with anybody from the company and it sends you to voicemail and does not let you know that you have to press the pound key to send a message. American Home Shield uses this company as a provider. If you use American Home Shield and they assign this provider to you ask for a different provider.

We received your work order on 6/14/2023, had you scheduled for a diagnostic appointment on 6/15/2023. We determined that the dryer needed a new door switch, heater, and thermostat. Those parts were ordered through your warranty on 6/16/2023, and on the same day your warranty company notified us that the parts were no longer available and they would be replacing your unit. We attempted to call you on the following Monday 6/19/2023, and left you a voicemail to let you know the dryer was in replacement. Your warranty company also notified you via email. We left the work order open as not to cause confusion and called you again on 6/23/2023, got your voicemail again and left another voicemail for you, letting you know we would be closing the work order that day as it had been a week since your dryer was put into replacement and we had not heard from you, and your replacement goes directly through your warranty, not through us, your contractor. So when we subsequently received your negative review through the warranty portal, we attempted to call you again, and you answered. Our conversation was less than productive as you stated you had not received either of the voicemails that we had left you, and that you had also attempted to call us many times for an update. When we looked through all voicemails we could not find any from you.

Trying to get to a resolution, we attempted to tell you again that the unit was in replacement and you needed to contact your warranty to get started on it. You became argumentative insisting that we were the ones who would be replacing it and we ended the call. You proceeded to call us back and leave voicemails 5 times in 20 minutes, while we were on the phone with other customers. When we called you back shortly after you stated that you didn't want to speak to anyone at our company and that we were a huge scam. You also stated that the reason we hadn't received any of your voicemails was because we had not told you that you needed to press the pound key to leave a voicemail. You do not have to press pound to leave a voicemail, and we have not had this complaint before. None the less, we agreed that we would not be working with each other in the future and the call was ended.

We don't understand how either our company or your warranty is a scam, when you were diagnosed within a day and were authorized for complete replacement of your dryer within 72 hours of placing your work order. It seems that communication is the biggest issue here, and while we apologize for any calls that were missed, we have done our part in trying to inform you and rectify any misunderstanding. It is now up to you to communicate with your warranty company to get your new dryer put in place.

We do not believe this is not a valid complaint as the customer is receiving an entirely new dryer, and it was completed in a timely manner. There was no option for repair on this since the parts are no longer available, and replacement is the best possible outcome. We did our best in trying to communicate this information to the customer, and it is up to him to complete this warranty claim.

American Home Shield sent them out to fix my dryer, which did briefly solve the problem. While fixing the dryer, the repair representative removed or knocked out the water drain to my washing machine. Consequently, just over 250 sq ft of my kitchen, laundry room and pantry were flooded. Damaged the drywall, baseboard and sunk through to the foundation. After repeatedly calling and leaving messages for over a week (6 full business days), there has been no response as to anything they're going to help, adjust, compensate, fix or even apologize for the damage. AHS was no help either as they take zero liability for the subcontractors they hire. I will never use Pro Appliance again. I'm now stuck with a bill for the water damage/repair and Pro Appliance has yet to return any of my contact efforts. Incredible that they're still in business with this kind of customer service.

I placed a request for service for a leaking washing machine through my Warranty Company, American Home Shield. A tech came out to inspect the problem; he claimed the problem was fixed however it was not. Our machine kept leaking. Pro appliance sent out a tech for a second time: this time he said he needed parts and made us wait two weeks. When the parts finally came in, we had to call pro appliance and request them to come install the parts ( they did not reach out on their own upon arrival of the parts ) the same technician came with parts and said he had repaired the Washer. The washer was STILL leaking. We had to file a third service request to get Pro appliance back to our home. Again, we were told additional parts were needed and had to wait over a week for them to arrive. After a week and a half, the tech came back for a third time, but still couldn’t fix our machine; our washer was still leaking. Pro Appliance never sent us service report or any sort of documentation of the work they completed. On the fourth visit from a Pro appliance technician, our machine was/is still leaking. We even called the technician 10 minutes after he left to report that he DID NOT FIX our problem. During this entire process, pro appliance never picked up their phone, they never returned our phone calls, we left multiple messages and never got a response. Our warranty company American home shield called them as well, but never got a response. This company Pro appliance is the furthest thing from ‘professional’ and has wasted over a month of our time and money. At no point was our problem fixed, after 4 attempts. On the 5th attempt, pro appliance canceled our appointment without even telling us. This company … if you can call them that…. Is horrible. Do not use them

We operate as a service provider for home warranty's. All of our repairs are subject to the limitations of the customers home warranty provider. All parts are ordered through the home warranty and all repairs have to be authorized through them as well. When parts take a week or more to come in there is nothing we can do about it unfortunately. As far as never picking up the phone or having any contact, our records indicate that we called you on 3/21, 3/22, 4/11, 4/12, and 4/26. Our text messages show correspondence on 3/20, 3/22, 3/29, 3/31, 4/5, 4/11, 4/21, 4/24, 4/25, and 4/26. We had your last service call transferred for another opinion to help suit you better due to the fact that you were so clearly unhappy with the service. We believe that we did maintain contact with the customer throughout this repair and the complaints of the timeliness of the repair should be directed towards the home warranty provider as we can only move as fast as they do. This review is not valid and should be directed towards the warranty provider.

After fixing my dishwasher they damaged my cabinet trying to reattach it to cabinet. They only attached the side they didn't damage. Now the dishwasher moves when opening, closing, and loading. They questioned there was actually a problem and the supervisor never called me back. Felt pretty insulted.

We operate as a service provider for home warranty's. We were out for this repair on 12/05/2022, and this review was made on 12/06/2022, before the customer placed a recall work order through his warranty company and spoke to our technicians about the "damage" on 12/07/2022. The review was placed before he attempted to contact us to resolve any issue. That in itself should make this review invalid. On 12/07/2022 when the customer showed us the "damage", we reviewed it with the footage from the video call diagnostic done on 11/16/2022 and determined that the dishwasher was sitting like this in the cabinet before the repair. Improper installation is not covered by his home warranty provider and thus we cannot fix someone else bad work. We are limited to what is provided by his home warranty coverage. This complaint is not valid and should be directed towards the home warranty provider.
