  Hires unvetted day labor. Missing 2 to 3 thousand dollars of shipment which took place on 10/17 to wintergarden. We are hurricane victims and are busy trying g to get our lives back together and this happens. Be careful if you use this company ***** wo arranged the shipment is no help to us. The bill from small moves was quick.

  Three cheers for Small Move Movers. They adjusted my move time, and made up for it by adding a third crew member at no extra charge. The three guys hustled and did a very good job. I would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them to a family member of friend. Steve in Dunedin

  This is the 3rd time Ive used Small Moves. As with previous times, they their staff have been great. They are friendly, listen to your concerns and follow through with taking care with your items. 2 out of 3 times they were on time; the 3rd time they were late but we had an extreme downpour of rain (understandable). I would recommend them to anyone needing their services. Oh, and the pricing is reasonable. :)

  No stars for small moves.Im ************************************************************** 3 miles away, I was very strong about the time of the move for between 12 and 2 pm. I was in bed at 8 am and they were at my door to move me. No one knew what end was up. The move before me was cancelled so they just showed because their boss told them to. I called small moves and they told me to tell the movers just go and have drinks! at 8 am. So I could have time to get out of bed. Thats ridiculous and very unprofessional. The move did not take very long 3 miles when they were done I signed off on a bill for $298 so the next day I checked my account and I was.billed $447. I actually went in to small moves on ******** Dr., and was told there was no management there because they were on vacation. I was told and member of management would get back to me. That was three weeks ago, I have written two emails to.********************** vice president. And no reply or call. You cant blame the movers, but it is the owners, the vice ********** ************************** Is allowing his business to run. In this manner I feel. that I was abused and a miss lead. The bad part about all of this is they just dont care if you are old, young, male, or female I suggest you stay away from this company I will never. Use them again. Why are they not even replying to their customers???? Because they can and nobody has stopped them ! Dont use this company ! They dont deserve to operate in this or any where. ************

  Scammers! Added bulky items which amounted to $900 more but could not label which items they work. They claim they don't hire day laborers but their workers are terrible. None of them know what they are doing. BEWARE! I was quoted 1100 and ended with a 3300k bill. They hold your stuff hostage and after all that money do a terrible job. They ruined my couch and did not put any boxes in their appropriate places. WORST COMPANY EVER! They also go by 1Man1Van.

  definitely would not use this company if you have a move planned. One of the movers was incredibly lazy and was not helping the other movers, plus spent 2 hours taking a crib apart. Then, did not follow my instructions to wait for help before trying to carry a filing cabinet down the stairs. He dropped the filing cabinet down 7 stairs. On the way to the new house, the three drivers were clearing smoking weed, because you could clearly smell it as they got out of the truck. After waiting weeks for a call back from a management official, the owners son ( *****************************) called me and expressed his apologies. I told him, there is a hole in our wall, at least 5 oak wood steps damaged and a filing cabinet destroyed. The owners son said to get a quote from a handy man and he would take care of it. After submitting the quote and filling out the claims form Small Moves inc., sent me a letter stating they would reimburse us $45.00. There was probably $2,000 worth of damage done. This company is a joke, and will definitely go under once ****** takes over for daddy. DO NOT USE THEM

  DON'T Use them..they are a scam..was quoted 552 paid 1,800 they want no debit cards..cash only..they lie .beyound awful experience..i have chest pain..to do this to a disabled vet..they robbed us..i beg you dont book them..you will be sorry

  I wish I would have read the reviews first, also. I had high hopes for this transaction and this is my first time ever writing a negative review. I am truly disappointed. Over the phone- wonderful before the move. I was quoted one price and told the representative that I could not pay more, verifying that my total was set. I was verbally guaranteed that I would not be charged more. WRONG! DO NOT SIGN THE ONLINE CONTRACT UNTIL YOU READ IT CAREFULLY!! ALL OF IT AND ASK ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS about it!!!!!! It does not matter what they tell you over the phone. Check on "bulky" items!! On the day they moved 16 items, 2 miles down the road, they would NOT release my items off of the truck until I emptied my bank account to pay over $550 more!!!! Cash only!!! Over the worker's phone, I was told to pay or they would take my belongings to a warehouse until I paid. The movers decide what is bulky and can add on fees without telling you and charge $30 per mile for gas on top of the $99 travel fee. Beware of an origin/destination fee and transportation surcharge that is way overpriced and never discussed. The workers were efficient, kind, and careful but unless you are ready to empty your bank account on the spot, think twice. When I called about the overcharge...all I got was it is too late, it is closed, you signed the contract. She did not care what was told to me over the phone...just about the contract. READ IT BEFORE SIGNING if you decide to use them. READ IT!!!!!! That is ALL they go by!!!!!!!
