  This company is a scam with fake 5-star reviews on ******* you can tell theyre fake because the people who left them have only left one review, and they did so after moving, which is BS. All the 1-star reviews come from real people whove left multiple reviews for other companies. These people send a salesperson to your home who says, were just calculating the charge for your large furniture today, and an estimate for boxes will be provided per room, but it never happens. Then they collect the deposit and dont give you any updates (even if you call daily asking) until right before your move, and then when you mention you have boxes (like literally anyone who needs to move) they triple your quote, ask for another deposit, and then get super rude because they know youre stuck with them. Were two days away from our move and they still wont tell us when someone will actually show up to get our stuff, so were canceling, filing a claim in court for the deposit if they dont return it, and Id like to warn every family out there whos trying to move to stay away from this company because theyll ruin it for you. Theres a reason this place has 65 filed complaints in just the last 12 months on the Better Business Bureau, and theyre about to have another one. Think about it: their fake ****** rating is 4.2 stars, but on BBB, theyre rated with 1.8 stars, which is too high in my opinion.

  Not only did they move me into my new place in record time, but they were also friendly and funny and put two tables together for me that needed the legs attached - they were great.

  I have moved a First ****** and this company is the best!! Amazing movers! Kind, punctual, and helpful with whatever you need moving. They assisted us in moving things in AND out of our new home. The prices are fair. I HIGHLY recommend Imperial Freight Lines.

  Imperial Freight Lines LLC are brokers pretending to be a moving company. They gave me an estimate for the move ($3,983) ask for a deposit ($1,523) upfront then pass the job to a moving company. I was told I will have to give $1,230 twice: once when the movers pick up and the second when they deliver. A day or two before the move I received a call from ****** asking for more money for more space on the truck. I shut him down. He replied Good luck with that. When the moving company arrives they will give you a second estimate thats doubles the first estimate given by the broker. I informed Imperial Director of Operations ************************* I had a 4 piece sectional, 2 lamps, 3 chairs, 55 tv, 2 floor mirrors, 4 paintings and 20 (55 gal) barrels. When the movers arrived They claimed my items wouldnt fit on the truck and only wanted to take 3 barrels and the sectional. I said to the movers what about my other items? The mover then said that will be $8,000 more but you will have to place everything in boxes. I gave ******************** from Imperial my total inventory and he stated the space I was given 469 cubit feet was more then enough and that my sectional only takes up 120 cubit feet. The agreement was that my entire inventory would be placed on the truck then shipped to its final destination. That never happened. They still have my deposit of $1,523, I havent heard from ************************* since. I called him several times and left messages. He never returned my call. He underestimated the space I needed and kept the deposit.

  DO. NOT. BOOK. No transparency around additional fees. No ability to cancel - the cancellation line automatically drops my calls. They extract payment by generating an external check, so there is no way to stop payment. They come across as very professional over the phone, until it's time to cancel.

  Imperial Freight Lines called me multiple times while I was getting taxes done. I answered the 2nd call but no one answered when I said hello. They called 5 more times while my taxes were being done, and didn't leave a message on any call. After getting home they called again. The person I talked to dove right into sales without asking if I had time. He frequently interrupted, though I will say he was nice throughout the process, he just had troubles listening. I told them I was only after a quote and that I had to do more research and comparison before choosing a shipper. He tried to hard-sell for a bit, then transferred me to Alex without any explanation. Alex went full-bore hard sell. I told him a few times that was a mistake. I tried patiently to get him to settle down. He didn't listen, he denied he was hard-selling, he continued to push. I tried to gracefully end the call and said I was going to hang up, but he just ratcheted up the hard sell. I told him I was going to hang up to save them from losing the business and warned him he was on the verge of losing my business, and he just wouldn't stop talking. He called me right back. I warned several times again that they were gonna lose my business, but he STILL wouldn't shut up, wouldn't stop trying to hard sell. I hung up again. Someone identifying himself as a dispatch manager called again a few seconds later. I warned him that I was pissed off from all their rubbish and would not tolerate any sales talk at all, told him I would only listen if he was calling to apologize. He dove into hard-sell again!!! Unbelievable! I have now blocked their phone numbers and e-mail. Imperial Freight Lines has 100% LOST my business. 2 more of my family members are likely moving to Hawai'i, but I guarantee they won't even consider Imperial Freight Lines. I am willing to pay substantially more for another shipper for the simple fact that Imperial would not stop, even when warned countless times.

  This was a terrible decision using Imperial Freight Lines. It took 2 months before they even shipped my furniture. TWO MONTHS!! Then when we received our shipment two leather chairs were MISSING. So disappointed. I feel abused by this company. To add insult to injury I have made numerous attempts to speak to someone in upper management but no i e will return my calls. NO ONE! STAY AWAY from this company! Job No. ********
