Scammed me too! Apparently crime DOES pay...the criminal. How is he NOT in jail???

Friday, October 14, 2022, hired Robert ******** of Tree Life Services to build a stack landscape wall along a grove of trees at my elderly mother's home and to fill it with river rock. He said he could do it and could start it the next day as he was already working in the neighborhood. Said it would be completed by Monday when we had to leave for our home which is out of state. Gave him a large cash deposit even though we know better. He was told not to bother my mom but to just deal with us. Long story short he never showed up that day, came pounding on the door Sunday said he had fallen asleep the whole day before but would get right on it. At 9 pm that night came pounding at the door again, told my mother he was dropping off the materials to start the next morning. Didn't happen and following that it was excuse after excuse, lie after lie. I could write a book on it. Eventually started the wall weeks later with the wrong materials, not setting in concrete like he said he would, spreading existing rocks where we did not want them, asking my mother for tools to use and not returning them, then saying he needed more money even though we had already made the circumference smaller by three feet so there should have been extra money. We refused to give more money. Shoddy workmanship, often just has people who work for him just sitting outside of house for hours on end, scam artist, would never recommend to anyone. Later when we came back in December talked to the neighbors two doors down and they has had the same issues and had fired them. I would not even give one star. Stay away from this person and company. Had to remove the little bit that was done. Have pictures for proof.

Friday August 19 we hired a landscape
company called Tree Life. It is owned by
Rob ********. We hired him to cut some
trees, plant some bushes and place gravel
around our swimming pool. The first day
he never showed up. He told us he had a
problem with another client who ended up
calling the police on him. That was a red
flag right there. The second day again he
did not show up. We had given him a
deposit of $600.00
Even though we were
skeptical we told him to just do the gravel around the pool. He agreed but again
never showed up. We wanted to get our
deposit back. He gave us a check that
bounced. I guess we'll just have to take
him to court. The company goes by
either ******************** or Tree Life
Services at *****************************************. I wouldn't even give him one star.
