1 starI was forced to use this company by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. My AC is 11 years old and I have it serviced every 6 months. It developed a leak in the coil. Originally told a new part would be ordered, that changed to it being welded to "I can't find the leak." But it's not working and currently over 80 degrees in my home. This started in August. The vendor accepted the dispatch but didn't call me. After waiting for two days, I called them. This time I called AHS four times to get this vendor to call since it is required to go back to them. How about they send an AC vendor who can fix this promptly.Review fromDr Steven S

1 starWe have American Home Shield warranty on our air conditioners. We called for service June 7th - your teck came out June 10 - part was ordered June 12th -- when **** came back out he discovered that they had received the wrong part -- part was part was reordered -- on July 1st we were told the wrong part was received again. This is unacceptable. What are you going to do to get our air conditioning? Every time I talk to your representative her only response is I'm sorry it's not our fault. We have been without air since June 7thReview fromRenee J

1 starI got a new AC installed by complete air in March. They came back out to fix a wire repair and 3AMP fuse in May when the thermostat stopped working. Fast forward to October when the temp dropped and I put the heat on and it didn’t work so they send a tech out and he fixes the heat. The next day my thermostat stops working. So they send another tech out and he said that the low voltage wires need to be replaced and leaves my AC on fan just running with no way to turn it off other than at the circuit breaker. He told my husband that it only pulls as much electricity as a TV which is **. So then they called me on Monday to say the wires need to be replaced and that it would be $575 when I’m already paying for a brand new Air conditioning. She said they don’t cover the wires in their warranty but why was that not checked when you took out my 18 year old air conditioning. She also said it looks like someone else worked on the unit since it’s been installed, like why the F would someone else work on my AC when it’s brand new and under warranty with them. I told them I would get a second opinion and give them a call back. The AC/Electrical guy second opinion whom did zero repairs: said the wires are fine and also that they spliced the wires in the air handler so that could be why. The air handler is also already dusty. They did not use a new Freon coil, they used the old one that was on my old handler and the Freon looked like it was leaking or something else was going on with that from where they did the welding. I called complete air today to let them know that the guys said I don’t need all new wires ran and if they can send a tech back out to look at it again. Julie sends me over to Lisa to get it scheduled and Lisa tell me she stands by her tech and starts to get an attitude. So they will not send someone else out, So I have been without AC/Heat which was working fine before they came to fix the heat. But instead of fixing their mistake the want me to pay.Review fromChunming L

1 starI am a professional property manager and I always work with many different contractors. Complete Air Mechanical is the worst contractor I ever see in many years. I don’t think I will see even worst contractor in the future! I bought ******** **** ****** (***) for all of my managed properties. The AC doesn’t work recently in one of my properties. *** assigned Complete Air as my contractor. Complete Air came two times, first time they told me that they need replace the capacitor of the and they did. The AC only worked for a couple days and then stopped again. Complete Air came second time. They didn’t mention anything about “pre-existing” condition when they were at my property. But when they went back office and submitted report to ***, they told *** it is a pre-existing problem. Unfortunately *** blind trust whatever the contractor said, and denied my service request. I have to spend more than $7000 to replace the AC completely. I certainly called ***, *** promised that they can reimburse the cost if Complete Air can modify their report. In the next two weeks, I called Complete Air every day and I was told I need to talk with the manager “Melissa”. I left tons of messages for her but she never call me back. Finally today I drove to their office and I told them that I wouldn’t leave until I talk with Melissa. Unfortunately and not surprised, Melissa is so mean, rude, and didn’t show any professionalism. I don’t know how the owner of Complete Air can tolerate such bad customer service in his company. I will not be surprised to learn Complete Air will continue to lose customer and close very soon! Never hire them! I have called ASH all my experience. Don’t waste your time and money on Complete Air!Review fromMark J

1 starUtilized this company through American Home Shield for two service calls in the past 10 months. Both times James, the tech, told us, before even making an evvaluation of the problem, that we needed a whole new system. Last week he evaluated the problem and found a leaking core. Stated AHS would never pay to repair, that we could repair at our expense a week later, or we could put in a NEW system the next day. We said we would wait to see what AHS would do. So we have been without A/C for a week while we waited for Complete Air to file the assessment and get a repair. Yesterday, I called AHS to find the status of the repair and was told the tech, James, had filed the issue as a leaking core, NOT DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. As such not covered by AHS. Now let us be perfectly clear. The unit is 15 years old! It is 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean! It has been repaired THREE times in 3 years for coolant leaks! But a core leak is NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR? So Complete Air Mechanical of Central Flordia got our repair claim denied, making it necessary to replace the system. Now I just saying, you be the judge as to whether this is a company you want to do business with! JUST SAYING!Review fromAngela C

1 starThe warranty company sent Complete Air Mechanical to fix our a/c and it took 4 visits before they replaced the motor. On the 4th visit, the repair tech told my husband he couldn't do anything unless the motor stopped while he was there, even though he had a video showing that the fan stopped while the motor continued to run. Previously they had replaced the capacitor, which had recently already been replaced. Once he did replace the motor, the one he used is unacceptable. He said it would be loud. Well, it was so loud that it prompted me to investigate - along with the fact that he left the electrical connection on the outside of the unit! The RPM on the "new" motor that was installed is 1075, on my system it should be 825. The consequence of this, besides being very loud, is that system efficiency is impacted. It uses more electricity and my electric bill reflects that by a significant amount. The fan is placed under a great deal of stress because it is being spun well outside of its designed limits. Overall, the higher RPM's of 1075 on a unit designed for 825 shortens the life of the system. Interestingly, I was asked prior to the new motor being replaced if I would like a quote for a new a/c and I declined. I don't know if the repair tech did not know what he was doing or knew exactly what he was doing but either way is unacceptable. The warranty company agreed to investigate and is having a different company contact us.Review fromTERRY W

1 star******** **** ****** warranty company assigned Complete Air Mechanical of Central Florida company for our AC emergency repair. It is now been 10 days with no AC and we work from home. It has been 85/86 degrees here for 10 days. James said compressor bad (6 months old) and installed by same technician (James) in February of this year. He said he believes we should have WHOLE unit changed out for $7200, so he wrote up the report poorly, so *** denied the repair of the compressor. In February, it took 2 people 8 hours from Complete Air to install the compressor when the job should take no more than 2 hours per the new company. The person we have now hired said Complete Air messed up the install, did not even bolt down the compressor. We will provide a report to the BBB and will bring Small Claims Court action against *** Warranty and Complete Air Mechanical of Central Florida. My opinion they are a scam company looking to upsell a product without fixing the issue. Yes, I understand the *** company pays at a lower rate so you get lower rate technicians. That is why they only get business from warranty companies.Review fromdaniel a

I was assigned Complete Air and Mechanical for my home warranty claim. Read the BBb reviews and was somewhat concerned. Called early the next day and scheduled for the following day. Tech showed up and was polite and knowledgeable. My house was 86 degrees and within and hour he had diagnosed and fixed the issues I was having. Soon my temperature began to drop and I was able to get a good nights sleep. Can’t speak of the past but the current service in this heat deserves 5 stars. I would definitely call them again!Complete Air Mechanical of Central Florida, Inc.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and provide feedback. It's always nice to hear when we're doing good as well! We do service 10,000+ customers annually. I know the reviews online can be alarming, so the more satisfied customers that actually take the time to post their reviews and feedback then the more accurate depiction the consumers will have. This summers heat has been horribly stressful and hard on all involved so Carlos will be happy to see your review. Thank you again!
