I first contacted Awards.com on 10/29/21 about a trophy I needed for my organization by 11/12/21. They assured me that I would receive the trophy in hand by that date, but encouraged me to pay over $40 for overnight shipping to ensure that the trophy would arrive on time. Throughout the process I would call just to make sure things were on schedule. I spoke with several employees (Matt, Chandler, Chantal) *multiple times* during the construction and approval of the proofs, and each time I reminded them of the date I needed the trophy in hands. I was continuously reassured of the delivery date. Even when I needed a revision of the proof (since they cut off the lettering in first proof), I asked if submitting that for correction would delay the process because if so, I would opt NOT to correct the mistake. I was told it would not delay and over the phone, the employee walked me step-by-step through how I could submit the proof for revision. THREE days before the event, I received a cryptic email (not even referencing the company's name) stating that they apologize but I would no longer be getting the award on time! I was shocked and demanded to know why I was CONTINUOUSLY on MULTIPLE occasions told by SEVERAL employees that I would get the award on time. I inquired why I was asked to pay the expensive overnight fee and why I was not informed of a potential for delay until just a few days before the event when there was too little time for me to look at other options. They scrambled for answers and appeared confused, so I ultimately had to speak with a manager who could only offer me an apology and a picture of the award (to put in a frame) until the real award arrives (after the award recipient will already be moving permanently out of the country). My organization was livid and I voted to warn consumers about this company. Thank God there was another trophy company that was able to help us at the last minute when AWARDS.COM left us stranded. The other company was prompt and professional, helping us the best they could given the late notice. I am thoroughly disappointed in the way Awards.com handled my business. As a consumer and business owner, I would NOT recommend Awards.com, nor will I ever use their services again. They are not reliable.
