I noticed some water marks on the ceiling of my laundry room a few months ago. A small moldy area quickly began to expand to a rectangular area of more than four feet and the mold was growing. With a baby in the home, this was a matter of urgency as the mold was growing into the baby's room as well as the garage. Assuming it was a leak in my roof, I arranged to have my roof replaced after having been told that the present roof was nearing the end of its life. I contacted a drywall repair man to take out the damaged ceiling and replace it with new. After inspecting the ceiling from the attic, where the air handler was located, he took photos of the real problem. The A/C air handler was gathering a lot of condensation which was in turn dripping on the ceiling and the wooden boards supporting it, in the very area where the mold was growing. It was not a leaky roof after all. The repair man stated that he could not do the repairs as it would only occur again as the real problem needed to be fixed. He recommended calling the A/C company as they needed to fix the problem; this was on Friday 10/15/21. I immediately contacted Ierna's who had installed a new system 2 years ago and who is the servicer. They sent a technician out on Saturday 10/16/21. He stated that the air handler was taking in hot air and that the insulation was totally soaked. He filed a report with the company and stated that someone from management would be contacting me by the following Tuesday (10/19). I asked if I would have to pay for these repairs and he said no. Tuesday came and went and I started reaching out to Ierna's. I was brushed off each time and told that someone will contact me. I am yet to hear from Ierna's. I had the drywall repair man remove the moldy ceiling for the health and safety of the household, but, I still need Ierna's to fix the real problem, and cover the cost (I paid extra for service protection after they charged me $980 for a new drip pan after one year of installation).Business response

We have ordered parts to rectify the issue. We are currently waiting on parts form the manufacturer. Once delivered we will make the necessary corrections.
