I saw Ms. ********************** on 3/21/2023 in ************. After emailing my paperwork to them they still did not have ******** had to provide them again. I brought all my recent medical records with me but she refused to look at them & out of the 12 blood draws she ordered only 4 had not recently been done. I expressed my concern about redoing the same blood work & her she said, "I'm the specialist & they will do what I say." I paid a $60.00 co-pay & left. I did the missing blood work as well as the bone density & thyroid ultrasound she ordered. When I went back for my follow up I arrived 20min early. Ms. ********************** yelled to the receptionist from that back so that I could hear in the waiting area that I would have to wait 1 hour because she was behind. After waiting for 45min while she ate lunch then she yelled to the receptionist that she would not see me because I did not pay my bill. I had NEVER received a bill at this time. I questioned it & offered my new insurance card she said I needed to leave and call my insurance company. I called *********** said she never submitted a claim. My insurance agent asked to speak to the ************** Ms. ********************** took the phone from her. She yelled & argued with the agent refusing to listen to her or to correctly submit a bill. All of this was on speaker phone with another patient in the lobby. I had to request to get my phone back several times & left. While waiting for the elevator she came out & screamed something at me. I asked what she said (I did not hear) & she said, "you heard me". I went back to her office not knowing if I left something or what at which time she freaked out yelling call 911. In shock I said I only came back to see what you said, she physically put her hands on me & pushed me out of her office. Thankfully the insurance agent heard it ALL! Now she is still sending me bills without correctly submitting them to my insurance company. I would just like her to correctly do her job. I have never received my results.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
Ms. ********************** was the individual who was abusive, aggressive, and combative. She displayed this behavior not only towards me but also abusive to the insurance agent on the phone who was trying to help sort through the issue Ms. ********************** created but not properly filing my claim to the correct insurance company. The card presented to her office in person, emailed to her prior to my first appointment as well as the one sent to her via certified mail, tracking #**** **** **** **** **** 69 is with All Savers a company under *************, ID#*********.
You will see in the attached emails Ms. **********************s office confirmed my appointment never once mentioning there was an issue with my insurance. All accounts in my original complaint are valid and true. The ************* Insurance agent, ****************** who was on the phone trying to help sort out the issue even called me back to ensure that I was ok and safe after hearing what took place with Ms. **********************.
When Ms. ********************** sent me yet another invoice 8/31/2023 after we sent the certified letter mentioned above, I contacted my insurance company only to find out that she still has NOT submitted a claim for the invoice from my original appointment. She is NOT submitting the claim to the correct company and has been repeatedly told this, she is blatantly refusing to do so and committing billing fraud.
I reached out to her office to sort out the issue and they refused to help and said I would have to file a complaint. As of today, October 20th, 2023, Ms. ********************** still has NOT submitted a claim to All Savers for the appointment in question. All Savers (agent *******) attempted to reach Ms. **********************s office because I have not been provided with an invoice that includes codes in order to do Ms. **********************s job and submit the claim to my insurance company myself. The only number to Ms. **********************'s office is to an answering service and ****** is unable and unwilling to help. Phone number ************.
Ms. ********************** may have asked others to write a statement, however they are false and inaccurate as to what transpired. I am more than happy to pay my invoice only after Ms. ********************** has submitted it correctly. She is simply refusing to do her job. This is simple harassment by a doctor.Respectfully,
***********************

I didn't believe the negative reviews until I witnessed the nonsense myself. Dr. ****************** Jasper was referred to me by my family dr so I made the initial appointment. That appt cost me $237 for a 15 minute conversation which entailed speaking about my family history and nothing more. She told me to get blood work done which I did. She also told me to get an ultrasound, which i did. She would not call in a Rx until I spoke to her in the office. On the day of the visit, I was told I owed $237 in full plus the $130 payment for today's conversation. The "guy" who spoke to me told me that they would not speak to me further until I paid both bills off in full which totaled about $400 from what he told me. I informed I didn't have that much money and without hesitation he told me he would cancel today's appointment and hung up the phone in the middle of the phone conversation. Who refuses to speak to a patient until they receive payment in full? I may have been able to make a partial payment but that option was never given. It was all or nothing. Then I received a text message from the office and they would not be filling any medications for me. She did nothing for me. Now she has my blood results to help me, and won't even discuss those over the phone until paid in full. First off the payment needs to go through insurance first and if you don't accept my insurance then that should have been explained prior to my first visit but apparently it's all about the money in this office and not about fulfilling her oath as a dr in helping people. This is a simple case of malpractice by Dr. *********************** I am out of medication she was supposed prescribe me for the weekend. This medication basically helps me function on a daily basis and now I have to get through the weekend without it and hope it's filled early next week. There was little to no communication on how anything worked and now I am out of medication because she simply refuses to do her job as a licensed doctor.Business response

To whom it may concern,
Re: Assignment ID# ********.
This patient was a new patient and at his visit had a Complete History, Physical and Assessment with labs and image ordered. A definitive treatment plan return visit was scheduled once all the results were available and his medical records relating to what he requested in medication were collected from his primary doctor. His primary doctor was giving him his chronic medication.
As per my billing company the patient was told he had a balance when he returned for his follow up visit. He had not met his deductible with his insurance company. The payment policy he signed on his first visit stated that he would be responsible for his deductible for services rendered. The patient told the staff he would not pay it until he felt like it. He became very hostile and abusive to the staff.
When the staff tried to talk to him, he would not cooperate and demanded to be seen. At this point he disrupted the office and patients and was very aggressive.
Our policy in the office is that if the person becomes aggressive and abusive, we cannot see them.
I was with another patient at the time and informed of this event after the patient left.
I have reviewed and sent his labs to his primary doctor who will continue to take care of him.
Unfortunately, because of his behavior he was never allowed, by the staff, to see me and will no longer be welcomed in our office. The balance is still outstanding, and we believe this is the real reason why he has contacted you.
The resolution for me has been to send his labs and image results to his primary doctor who has been treating him and will continue to treat him.
Sincerely,
Dr. Josephine V Jasper MD FACE

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*********************Her information is completely incorrect. I never showed up for the 2nd visit and I never became hostile or aggressive while in the office simply because I was not there. I was told I owed a total of $237 prior to being seen by the Dr which is not my deductible, which I have met. Dr. ********************** did not send the bill to my insurance. I was simply told that I needed to pay the bill on full, plus an additional bill due that day which totaled almost $400 in order to speak to her for a 2nd time. The 2nd visit was supposed to be over the phone, which I never received. Her office is making up blatant excuses for her I'll behavior and as a doctor, it is disgusting to say the least. She has not reached out to me to ask what the issue was. I simply received a text message letting me know that her office would no longer be te-filling my script AFTER I WAS HUNG UP ON BY OFFICE STAFF. I called him back and simply said, "it's rude to hang up on people in the middle of the conversation, and then proceeded to make my point by hanging up on the random person who contacted me. I was not hostile or argumentative in anyway. I simply asked why I was responsible for full payment to which I wasn't given an answer. My first visit, the Dr never took my vitals. I was simply shuffled from one room to another and we had a 10 minute discussion over my family health history and was told to get blood work. She will continue to receive payments on my bill as I can afford. $237 for a 10 minute discussion is absolutely ridiculous. She is not holding up to her oath as a Dr and refusing to see patients because their bill is not paid in full. I have never been told that in my 41 years of life. If her office does not accept my insurance, then I simply should have had that explained to me but that amongst other things were never done. Perhaps before responding in such a manner, she should call her "patients" she took an oath to help, to find out how to fix the situation, but instead she comes here and fills in the gaps with lies. Again, I never returned a 2nd time to the office and I was not rude, aggressive or hostile in anyway. Making up lies about me, makes me happy I'm not returning to her office. If her office treats me this way after 1 visit, I can't imagine how she treats other patients who keep going back. Her ****** reviews are absolutely horrendous and now I can see why.

I received a **** from Dr ********************** for $250 on October 27, 2022. I telephoned her office a few days later asking if my insurance was accepted. I was told it was and the balance was $250. I then paid the ****. A few days later I received a denied claim from my secondary insurance ************* care. I again called the office and found out that they ****ed the wrong insurance. They were supposed to **** ******** first and then united health care. I inquired about the payment I already made and was told I would be reimbursed. The doctors office ****ed ******** / United health care and were paid on by both. I waited several weeks for my refund and didnt receive anything. I have been told several times over the past few weeks that the refund check was in the mail. Still no check
