    Absolutely, positively the worst, most exasperating "customer service" one could imagine. I just spent over an hour with one of their online chat dolts trying to get my phone unlocked when it should have been automatically unlocked 2 months ago, according to the unlocking policy posted on their website. Whether it actually gets unlocked now is still an open question as I was told the unlocking would take another 2 days. I am NOT optimistic that it will actually get unlocked. These people are completely useless.

    I wanted to update my payment method and when I did they pulled the money from my old payment method that same day yet the bill wasnt due yet and when you call the customer service department they tell you it is because of the new payment method. *******. Sephfred was very rude and kept muting me and then talking over me. It is illegal to take someones money before the due date and charge their old card and not the new one ON THE DUE DATE. Its crazy. Then you have to wait 5 business days to get the refund. Wow total wireless. I have been a customer for over 8 yrs and ready to find another.

    The operators lie lie lie. They lie about shipping times and dates, they lie about when I should receive my package, they lie about canceling an order, they lie about issuing a refund, and they created a cancelation department that doesn't actually exist.

    This company scammed my girlfriend. She purchased an $80 card for 2 phone lines, and only received an activation code for 1 line. After roughly 6 full hours of communication with the official helpline, there is zero progress. No second code. And so she spent another 3 hours trying to get a refund, since she didn't get what she paid for. Now this company is hiding behind the third party argument for why they cannot refund the money spent. They even had us spend gas to go in to a target location, claiming that the issue could be resolved by us having a manager speak directly to their associates. Once we got there and called back in, we were told that is not an option at all. Clearly, this company has little to no regard for it's customers, and they take zero accountability for things they are legally liable for. If this company cannot operate under it's own guidelines, it should be shut down entirely. 0/10 would absolutely recommend you avoid this company at all costs. The manager at target, which we were directed to make contact with, told us that there is no excuse for this kind of issue, because the company could easily cancel the original subscription, and activate a new one, with both of the activation codes. This is absolutely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. A company that cannot uphold it's legal responsibilities should not be allowed to continue operations.

    If there was a negative 10 I would pick it! I was with Total by Verizon for over 20 years, since they were Tracfone.....I recently changed professions needing to make hundred of calls a day, I paid for unlimited with an extra line for that purpose. 3 months in (today) that phone I use for calling got shut down, when it was all said and done (3 hours of being hung up on and argued with) the bottom line was........you cannot make excessive calling or app using......I asked how much excessive was........they would not give me specific amount, they just said they determine what excessive is and they determined mine was excessive. Even though I pay on autopay for unlimited talk, text and data. They said if they determine it again, my phone will be shut off forever, that I only get 1 warning. Beware of these companies that are ran by foreign entities, they are not American firendly.

    I have been a Total Wireless customer for five years. Service and price has been fine until now. I called before my trip to *********** to add international calling plan to my phone. I was told which plan was needed, they assured me it would work in ****** and I was assured I could go back to my current plan upon my return. They switched my plan over the phone.I cross into ****** and had no service. After several calls to technical support, I was told that the international calling plan only works in *************** and not on Baja. I was then going to add a Mexican sim card, but was told my phone was locked and could not be unlocked. So, I was without my phone the whole trip-two months!Upon my return, I call customer service asking for either 1) a full refund for the two months I had no use of my phone, plus a refund of difference between plans on my current bill. 2) refund on the difference of both plans. I was told that I wasn't on the correct international calling plan-which they chose and changed for me! Iwas given a refund on one month and that was it!I also wanted to be put back on my previous plan-which I was told I could do, to find out that plan is no longer available, and the only option is for new plan that is $10 more.I asked for a retention specialist, which they don't have.I am upset with this terrible customer service and I will be changing to another service provider. The customer *********** was very nice - just doing what he was told he could do.Shape up Total Wireless!

    I'm highly disgusted with this company. I would not ever suggest to anyone to use this company. There customer service is the most God awful and rude I have ever encounter!!! They will tell you one thing and turn around and say they can't do that. They will push you to get upset with them and when that happens they'll just cut your service off bc you get upset bc of their lies. This company needs to be investigated at least there customer service team. If I could I would give this company not even a 0 for satisfaction. Something needs to be done with their customer service as well as their supervisors. They most definitely aren't trained properly and they aren't shy at telling you a flat out NO that they won't transfer you to another department. So don't even entertain the idea of getting a phone with this company. I promise you it will be nothing but a huge headache!!!! I definitely DO NOT recommend this company to anyone....not even my dog!!!

    Tried switching to total wireless Worst experience ever They will not honor the discounted phones However I can pay full price After spending 3 hours and speaking with 3 agents and a chat bot I was told they have technical difficultywith their website ( no discounted phones available even though still listed on website) I was told to check back in a week therre tying to resolve issues This is a total scam!!!!!!!Avoid them!!!!!!{

    Verizon Wireless is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire 65 years. Every call to customer service has been a nightmare trying to get someone who can speak clear enough English to understand. My wife, my son and I used these clowns for 6 years with only minor issues. My son bought a new phone at ******* and then he called Verizon and (after almost 2 hours) got it activated. The phone kept shutting down, it turned out to be defective so my son returned it to ******* for another phone. When he called Verizon Wireless to activate the second phone, they could not locate his account. We could still log in and see everything about our account yet they could not find his account. They could not even find the automatically deducted payment they had taken for his line 4 days earlier, even when I gave them the transaction number from their own website. After 6 hours on the phone, the lady suggested that I call my bank and have them do a "claim back" on the payment, then come and start a new account. I informed her that if I set up a new account, it would certainly not be with Verizon. Banks do not do "claim backs", you can dispute a charge, so I did that and Verizon manipulated the data so I could not get refunded. I hope they spent that money wisely because it's the last of my money Verizon will ever see.

    It was a decently cheap phone plan. There are others now that are on-par with Total after Verizon bought them. Just had my legacy plan deactivated with no real warning aside from the usual ************* is about to end" messages that Total sends out every month, on a day I was supposed to have a phone interview, so that's great. (I have an automatic renewal. They have sent out the "Service ending" texts each month before, so I didn't worry too much about it since I figured the bill would be automatically paid. Didn't think this time they were referring to actually ending the Legacy plan.)Honestly, go with some other companies. Their customer service is generally not that good. Their website is also pretty bad, both before and after Verizon bought them. It's both a buggy mess and confusing. The only reason they get two stars is because the service works, but that's about it.
