Purchased a home where the entire A/C unit (about 3 years old) was installed and also supposedly "maintained" by Hearth. They had to come out no less than 6 times in a manner of 3 months! One time it was 2x on the same day. Once one of the solutions was finally diagnosed as needing an auxiliary pump to drain the water out on a constant basis, the unit seemed to be fine for about 1 1/2 months. Just recently we have now found out that two major parts need to be replaced as the temperature in the house wouldn't decrease to what it was set at. Fortunately, it is under warranty and when questioning why we are continually having issues, the AC manufacturer and another HVAC company stated that a lot of it most likely stemmed from the initial installation. When this was repeated and asked to clarify with Hearth-the office "manager" Corrine was EXTREMELY RUDE and hung up on us! We called back and asked to speak with the owner, and the same thing happened! First to my husband and then he actually spoke in a degrading tone to me as a woman, and TOTALLY was disrespectful. This review could go on and on, but bottom line, we would NEVER have them in our home again, because of the way we were treated by the OFFICE. The one good thing they have going for them is that the service techs were very courteous in the "6!" times they had to come out. Fortunately for us, we have easily located a reputable York Certified HVAC Company to do the repair and fix the unit correctly. Clearly, it doesn't matter if you have been in business for "37" years as we were told over the phone by them if you don't treat your customers with respect or can diagnose and fix the issue from the start. I will note that they refunded our maintenance and last service call fee (we paid all of the rest). ** We are expecting a nasty rebuttal to this review, it will just further confirm and demonstrate minimally how we were treated by the owner and the office over the phone. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY.
