    I was looking for low-income housing and found Hickory Pointe Apts. I went there on several occasions. I had trouble with my password (that they had given me) and they couldn't help me. One time when I went back the reason they After several attempts help me was that there was a new person who couldn't help people change their passwords. Originally when I told the manager my income she said it was close enough to the minimum income and it wouldn't be an issue.When I went back one time I was given a paper copy to fill out and told that the person who had been helping me wouldn't be back in the office for several days. I filled out the application and turned it in.On Dec.24, 2023 I found out that my application had been denied because I didn't have enough income. On January 11, **** I still hadn't received a refund. I called the company and explained that I hadn't gotten a refund - I had paid an application fee and an application deposit - $85 for the application fee and $100 for application deposit. It was explained to me that only the application deposit was refundable. Per the contract I signed, I would be getting a refund of $100 and the woman on the phone said that she would email corporate. (The refund was supposed to be within 30 days per the contract.) It is Jan. 23, it has been 30 days since they denied my housing application since I didn't make enough money and I still haven't received a refund. I wish I had never wasted my time or money and I would advise others not to apply here as they have very bad customer service in my opinion.

    Our records indicate that check number **** for $100 was cut 01.29.2024 and mailed to the address provided by applicant.  We contacted the applicant on 02.08.2024 to see if received.  We were informed that it was not.  We verified address and were given a different address of ************************************************************************  Our ************* has not received the check back in the mail.  Our policy is to wait 45 days prior to void and re-issue.  We will void earlier and re-issue check this week.
