On 8/13/2022 I booked a room at Americas Best Value Inn, 4431 W New Haven Ave, Melbourne, Fl 32904 via ***********. We checked in and everything was ok. The next day upon check-out we requested a late check out and all was good, they said ok and lead us to believe 1:00pm was the latest check-out time, all parties agreed to this request. Three days later upon reviewing my bank statement this hotel took it upon themselves to charge us for an additional night along with a seperate charge for some miscellinous fee no one can state what it was for. I called the hotel on 8/19/2022 an had such a hard time actually getting a hold of a human being to ask questions in regards to the $99 extra they had charged me. Finally, 3 hours later I received a text message stating it was the only form of communication they had. I found this unacceptable and finally received a phone call upon hour 4. The manager called and was absolutely rude and kept stating that I was talking over her and aggressive. She stated that we refused to leave the room therefore charging me an extra night. Now, as previously stated, we had called the front desk and all agreed to leave by 1pm and that was that. But this business instead charged me without consent, approval or proof of purchase, for an additional night. How is that legal to charge someone an extra night for an hour late check out, not notify them, nor seek approval, nor provide a receipt for the extra night you never consented too? In addition they just accuse you of actions you never committed and force you into paying for a service you never received? I will never ever spend another cent in my life there. This establishment is grimmie and conducts bad business. They need to be reprimanded for their shady ways.
