Recently had a bad experience with a rental in *********** *******. Villa 110 at the Villa Riviera. We booked through Expedia. They told us to ask for a refund directly from East Coast Living. They advertise no smoking villas and also state no smoking on balconies. However the neighbors around you can smoke so whats the point on a non smoking rental experience. The homes are represented by East Coast Living Realty. The owner of this company was rude to my wife, unwilling to assist. Rather lose us as a customer and suggested we dont rent again from her or rent a property with a balcony! Our vacation had to be cut short because of this and no refund per *********************************. Also, 18 out of 30 of the villas at ************* are closed by the fire marshal due to unsafe concrete balconies. They are under repair and the noise and the concrete dust would have made us leave even if the smoking did not. No construction was advertised and per Janices assistant. No Smoking was advertised and the reason why we came here. We have rented here before. We could not sit outside our rental or keep windows open without smelling smoke from other renters above us. Also when my wife spoke to the owner of East Coast Living about this issue, she said if you dont like it leave and dont rent here again so we left.
