Purchase deposit made by on 11/02/2022 for 3 new exterior patio sliding doors. Ship date according to contract was 3/2/2022 with a due date of April 2, 2022. At no time were phone calls ever made to us to notify us of the extreme delay in installing our exterior doors which upon signing contract we were told would happen in March 2022. We placed a call ourselves today on March 18, 2022 and were told our doors could not be installed until at least September 2022 or later. This is a significant difference than what we were told upon signing and leaving a deposit for our new exterior doors. This is also going to be the middle of hurricane season and is unacceptable. The delay in product and extreme delay in installation makes us uninterested in your services. Had we been told upon initial deposit and contract with this company that installation would not happen for a year or more we would not have purchased nor contracted with this company. We also work in the remodel industry and understand Covid delays. But this is an extreme delay and we were never notified until the date with which our products were supposed to be due. It also took us making a phone call ourselves to find out this information. Again if during the purchase timeframe which was November 2021 they had informed us that our doors could not be installed until September 2022 or after we would've never deposited and contracted with Sunset View Windows and Doirs.
