One of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. From limited communication, to setting a pick up date that did not start my business days to delivery, to the movers falsifying my BOL, and overcharging me for space. Which I then took pictures and measured with the movers who delivered the items and proved. Unfortunately what this means for me is I'm now taking the movers to small claims court. It's a classic broker model that just finds the cheapest labor and gives poor quality. Unfortunately I used them as they offered a discount to veterans. Usually I trust companies that say they take care of those that have served. This company hides behind it, and lures you in only to overcharge on the back end.Like many others I've waited since November to write this review. I wanted my claims process to finalize before writing anything. Next steps, court cases with the potential of NSMVERS being named.

The estimate was deliberately low and hooked me into using their shipper. The movers arrived and charged us for 300 more square feet. Although they picked up our packed brand new boxes and placed them in a clean truck, they arrived dirty and smashed. Two sets of shelves were broken, our instant pot has a huge dent in it and Rigos tiny labels were often missing from items. The delivers brought in three **************** that werent ours! We waited in our new home for three weeks for our boxes to get to *******. **** told ** that their trucks could fit in both locations, but he didnt really look as the gates at our new home are really close to the clubhouse and we had to pay an additional $900 for them to get a uhaul to move our things in here.

Horrible service they low ball their estimates I understand at first it may go up but it will drastically ***************** is a fast talking salesman thats all his is felt like I was buying a used car in a back alley . my contract said 30 days maximum haha wish I could tell you that was the truth took 33 multiple cancellations and moving company was not listed on their site. Kind of shady that this reputable company would do business with legends movers and ended up being arena *** lines who delivered contract was sold out after the 30 days which to mention arena *** lines was professional but my stuff all furniture is damaged I filed a moving complaint this is the start of my bad reviews to make people aware of this please do it yourself or use pods and hiring labor this was a joke for **** plus dollars I was compensated 60 bucks and late and Im sorry stay away please

Worst Company Ever. From the initial price increasing by $2000, rude customer service, last minute declaring they don’t provide boxes and will not pack up the stuff, changing the delivery date by a week, and being hit on by the delivery man, it just couldn’t get any worse. Save yourself the money, trouble, and frustration.

My quote with ***** * was great. Budget mattered greatly to our family as I am a stay at home mom so we shopped around. Luxury Van Lines came to pack our items and the man in charge told us upon arrival the cost would be over double our quote. I understood it was an estimate but i was accurate with our inventory. We had maybe 5 or 6 extra boxes, not double. They were careless with our items while disassembling and packing. The man in charge then told me that they used even more space than the double he already told me but he would do me a "favor" if we just tipped the men. We were already going to tip but he kept asking how much we were tipping and it felt like bullying at that point. When they left we discovered they left multiple items behind that were tagged. These items totaled well over $1,000 and because out our limited space in the car we had to get rid of them and have since had to replace those items. I reached out to customer service with safe ship and they discussed with Luxury to adjust the price, Luxury then told me they would "discount" $200, and then $400 after I pushed further. this doesn't begin to cover the losses. They said this is all they would do as the estimates are "almost never accurate" and they collected "almost everything" on the inventory list. Unacceptable but at least we were getting something. The delivery was a nightmare as well as the driver didn't have the updated amount from Luxury and it was a weekend when they weren't in office. He was rude and didn't want to accept the amount even when I showed him the email from luxury. He then tacked on extra fee for long haul carry even though the distance was less that 75 feet to our door. I could give so many more details with proof but the main point is find a different company. Unless budget is no concern whatsoever I imagine this happens a lot. We were bullied and lied to all along the way but we had a strict timeline and no other options. Don't let this happen to you.

I've been thinking about writing this review for months. That's how long I've been ****** off at this company.I wish I listened to all of the bad reviews about this place. I thought I would be different. I'll roll the dice I thought to myself. Worst mistake ever. Please let this be the review that you read that stops you from spending money with these people. 1. I was quoted a number for my move that was only meant to get me to sign up. They knew that as long as I said yes on that phone call and gave them my deposit, they would just make up the difference when the movers got there. And that's exactly what freakin happened. ALMOST DOUBLE my estimate. 4K turned into 8K! .2. As they're getting my stuff the guy incharge of the move comes up to me after they have 70% (Heavy extortion vibes) if not more of my stuff already and starts doing the paperwork. He then proceeds to let me know he needs to charge me $350ish extra for fees. FOR FEES! What fees you might ask? The fee for traveling more than 100 feet. These sorry jokers where pulled up right to my ELEVATOR. Sure as the crow flies it's longer than 100 feet; but these sorry jokers where not traveling themselves more than 100 feet. 3. Finally the nail in the coffin. Our stuff gets to our destination place. They tell us they'll give us a 24hr heads up before they're there. They text us the day before at 10PM! Technically it was the day before by 2 hours. Sure whatever. What sprung this whole review though was these sorry jokers were RUDE TO MY WIFE. Yall trippin.

I am very dissatisfied with Ship-it-Safe (shipper) regarding the move of my household goods from ************* ** to ****** MS for the following reasons.1. It appeared that the shipper "low balled" the cost because the cost increased by more than 30% on the day of the move which made it difficult to get another mover. There were hidden costs such as disassembly and assembly, and stairs for example.2. The boxes of my household goods were not labeled by room as promised which required guesswork as to the placement of household goods.3. The delivery date kept changing, without notice, from two weeks to a few hours on the day of delivery.4. Upon arrival at the destination the driver started placing all the boxes of household goods in the ********** let the driver know that this was unacceptable, and he then called his supervisor. for help.5. There was another shipment in from of mine which required the driver to unload those goods in order to get to mine. 6. I have been unable to reach a representative of the shipper to discuss damage to my stereo console; missing stand for computer monitor; missing wheels to my computer stand; broken ***** and other items. As a result of the above observations, I do not recommend Ship-it-Safe.

This is the most horrible company!!! They use 3rd party "people" not companies to move your things. From the beginning, I was given a total and paid the deposit. I was moving things about 600 miles one way. The people knew the distance when they agreed to pick up the items. I was told I would be given a 24-hour notice. I got a call at 10 am and was told they would be there by 4 pm, which I could not get off work. I asked if there was another option. The guy I was talking with was very rude and disrespectful. He told me he would take my things and bring them the next time he was in the area. My things went from **** to Georgia and I am in **. There is no way to track the items. I was told there would be an additional charge at pick up for gas and for packing the truck, which was already charged in the contract. When my card was charged there was an additional cost of $1,000 and never got a receipt from pick up or drop off. When I finally got my items, they thought they were going to just drop off my items in the living room. When I agreed to the initial contract, I was told that they would unload and place items in appropriate locations. My 13-year-old son had to help them put things together. Then they left all their trash on my front porch. They asked if we wanted them to take their trash and we said yes. They left if all on the front porch. I called safe ship over 10 times and NEVER got a phone call back after they kept saying they would look into it. To this day, I have not heard from them. They were going to call the driver and ask about the invoice. The driver never answered the phone. This is the worse company. If I would have known all this, I could have saved a lot of money and headache by getting a UHAUL and moving myself. I thought this would ease the pain considering I was mourning a death in my family, which is why I had items moved. I do not recommend this company AT ALL!!!!

*worth reading*they get two stars because in theory my items were "moved".Safeship and I walked through the items I wanted to move and I made sure I was super specific so that the cubic foot was as accurate as possible (I know it's an estimate ultimately). My couch was not just a "sofa" it was a three piece sectional, I gave them exact dimensions of the box etc etc. This all came out to about 410 cubic feet, it was the same during the quality assurance check. The movers arrived and upon looking at my space told me I had about 800 cubic feet, meaning I'd pay double my estimate (if this happens to you do NOT sign anything or let them load items in to the truck). I called safeship who worked with the movers and ultimately I sent the movers away, safeship promised a new crew would be there the next day and via facetime and photos they committed it would be 490 cubic feet. The new movers arrived and ultimately said the same, it was about 800 cubic feet, I called safeship and at this point they knew I was leaving the next day to which thy said "well if that's what it is the mover is correct".Safeship makes their money off of their quote and before the movers even show up so they are incentivized to give you an estimate they know is low to 1) pay them but also 2) not look elsewhere. Ultimately then once the movers show up you're at their mercy since safeship has "secured you movers".I'll spare the parts about how my items arrived damaged (even though they packed them) and are still missing multiple things.
