Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have pursued an health insurance with this company in March with an effective date to be 4/1/2023 with a premium of $371 per month. I particularly was looking for a health insurance that covers for mental health (talk therapy in specific). They have provided me the explanation of benefits brochure for the plan that I selected also states that they cover for the Mental Health coverage inpatient and out patient. With confirmation from an employee and the benefits explanation brochures from the members services that the mental health is covered, I started taking therapy from an in-network psychologist for about 12 or 13 sessions. The ****** for the therapist have reached out to me stating that Insurance Claims Specialist is now stating that Mental health is not covered. I have proof of documentations and communications between me and the company's members service and my therapist's ****** as well. I write to you because I tried contacting the company so many times on this to.speak to ****** from the member services who confirmed my benefits regarding mental health. Their main line now says spam and doesn't ring at all, their member services line takes me to a clain your free 100$ rewards holiness, and the only phone number that works is for claims and when they try to forward my call to member services, the line disconnects and when I ask them questions they do not have a straight answer. I have paid the premium with out fail, paid my copays on time as wel. The company is denying me a service that they promise to provide as stated on the documents and now I am oweing a total of $950 to be paid for the therapist. Kindly help. I, at this current situation, am unable to turn to anyone for justice as every one is ready to show an empty hand. Kindly help.
