    They are charging me more than $100 in fees every month claiming that I don't have an electricity bill in the apartment. Before signing the lease, it is mandatory to have an electricity bill, in other words, how do I not have an account if I signed the lease and every month I pay the electricity bill? I tried to contact management and I think they are joking with me or think nothing will happen. I'm going to file a lawsuit in court and get my money. I will not delete reviews on ****** and BBB.

    We had reached out to ***** several times to try to resolve the issue he was experiencing being billed for not having his FPL account setup. Our system was billing him and he claimed he had service. It took several requests for ***** to send documentation showing he had in fact setup his FPL account so we could then remove his charges for the vacant electricity billing. We worked hard following up on requests for the documentation and after several months he send it and we reversed all the charges he incurred.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    I went after the company to receive my refund, do you charge me and do I have to prove that I have an account with FPL? you didn't do your job and I was charged for 2 months, because you didn't call FPL and resolve it, but you did it the hard way, so I was forced to report it to the BBB.

    I applied here over year ago and still waiting on refund of application fees of $350, they tell me they mail it and it never comes and then they wont answer my calls. Over a year is too long to wait to refund this money. I did get a picture of an envelope from them from the postal service but they didnt bother to put the complete address so the carrier returned it to them.

    Our goal when an application is denied is to refund the administrative fee in a timely manner. We make efforts with the contact information provided on the application to reach the applicant via phone, email etc. Efforts were made to reach the applicant that a check was sent out but not cashed. After several attempts phone call was made and answered to which we found the address we had was incorrect. Once this was corrected a check was sent to the corrected address and received by the applicant. The applicant is now fully refunded see attached email confirmation.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will state that I had to make over 20 phone calls to them that were ignored and get bbb involved to finally get it but yes thank you for the refund.
