      FPL Is the Worst Company Ive Ever Dealt With I have never experienced such poor service as I have with Florida Power & Light (FPL). Ive been trying to recover my $540 deposit for over a month and a half, and it has been a complete nightmare. First, they claimed my deposit was lost in translation (whatever that means). After spending over four hours on hold and being bounced around between departments, I finally received a checkonly to find out they had put a stop payment on it!This company is an absolute disgrace. They take advantage of Floridians and seem to care only about collecting money, not providing proper service. Ive worked for them before, and *** seen firsthand how they operate: taking money from both customers and government programs without ************************************* deserves better. Companies like this need to be abolished.

      They deserve 0 stars. Most unreliable POS company out there. I get outages every month and when it comes time for them to fix it they just take their sweet time to fix my power. I honestly shouldnt even pay for power at this point. Absolutely horrible company and thats a generous review.

      If a payment fails for some reason (I'm not sure why it even could fail), they PREVENT YOU FROM SETTING UP AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS! Thus, you're more likely to fail to pay the next time. Their system is designed to make it more difficult to pay, and then turn off your service, and I'm sure they collect fees through doing this. This should be criminal.

      I wish power companies didnt have a monopoly on the people. I would love to be able to shop out different companies but you cant. So they cant set whatever policies they feel like and you must abide by them because you have no other option

      I request power for multiple locations in FPL service area *******, ******* and ****************) regularly. I have worked with many FPL project managers and a supervisor in ********* and and it appears there is no consequences for poor performance from employees. Not responding to email or VM. Waiting 9 months or more to energize and install a meter!!?? There is no escalation process for clients. I asked to speak to a Manager/Director and was told by a supervisor in ********* that there is no one above him that i could speak with. This is absurd. If your not going to hold your staff accountable fire yourself. Have you seen your rating online at what point will you take action Next Era Energy?? What you permit you promote!!! Fact.

      FPL is the worst power company I've ever had to deal with. Why have a contact us option if you can never talk to a real person. The automated system doesn't give you that option. When people are having a hard time paying their bill ontime, it gets paid just a week or two late. Then you want to charge a $628 deposit because of late payment history. People run into hard times at least you could work with them but NO you want to disconnect their service for deposit not being paid. Let's use our head for once FPL. If a person is already having a hard time paying the bill ontime. What makes you think a $628 deposit demand makes anything easier for that person? All that does is cause stress on that person. They are already struggling to pay the bill ontime and now they have to come up with their current bill amount and the deposit by a certain date or their service will be disconnected. Just don't understand the logic in that. If you demand a deposit from them and they are already struggling. Why don't you add a little bit of the deposit amount to their monthly bill over a period of time? Not demand it all at once by a certain date. I really wish there was a different company in this area that can provide power. But we are forced to use this horrible company FPL. Times are tuff for people right now and you as a company could be compassionate to work with ******* BETTER

      Absolutely the worst utility company l have ever dealt with. I have multiple rental houses and have to have the power turned on in my name between renters to turnover the houses. They mess the billing up almost every single time which ends up at no fault of mine in the power being turned off at the rental property or even at my personal property. The call service people are highly untrained and absolutely could not care less. Horrible horrible company.

      Power is constantly going out in my area. Not storming. No hurricanes so what is their problem? It's 99 degrees here in South Florida. This is NOT ok! Area code *****
