I hired Rubenstein law in 2014 for a slip and fall case. I got bounced around between a few different attorneys and some details I believe to have been lost within the shuffle. Since then, we went to trial and lost. After the trial I had requested SEVERAL times to sit down with Mr. ********************** again to go over my options, was always told someone would get back to me with dates and never did. The only response I received was a notice stating ********************** was no longer my attorneys but that it didnt mean I couldnt get another attorney. I dont want another attorney, I want to fight through appeals and try again. After all, a juror was pressured, the ** lied in his closing statement, the co ** insulted my family in front of me to the judge and the judge was too lenient with the opposing counsel to begin with. Fast forward to today, I received an email notification to appear in court as Im now being sued for their attorneys fees. I wasnt served with anything at all but an email which Ive forwarded to Rubenstein law the same day I received it and still have yet to hear back from them. I dont have 300k to pay attorneys fees, I feel Rubenstein law really dropped the ball on my case and are not helping me with any of my requests. I underwent 3 surgeries, will likely have more and these thuggish attorneys on the other side are getting away with absolute murder.
