      Hello, I paid Avana plastic surgery a $250 deposit for cosmetic surgery I was planning for July 2025. After a visit with my primary care doctor I decided to cancel the appointment and requested a refund. They were persistent that I could change doctors to one that would have more experience to work with someone like myself with the health risk I have. I let them know that my doctor will not clear me for this procedure and I was told that I could not receive a refund because there was a $500 cancellation fee. I did not sign the agreement and sent a screenshot to the refund department showing I never submitted the agreements. Due to history of pulmonary embolism and very low blood levels, my doctor will not clear me for this type of procedure. I did let the refund department know my situation and they said they would get back to me. I have not heard from them since then, and I have tried calling them several times and have not received an answer. I would greatly appreciate a refund of my deposit due to my medical history and proof that I didnt not submit the agreement for the charge of the cancellation fee.

      On June 14th, I was told that the promotional price of $5,500 for surgery with Dr. ************************* would expire that day. The sales coordinator, ******, insisted that I needed to put down a $250 deposit immediately or risk missing the discounted rate. I asked if I could call back the following Monday to have more time to consider it, but ****** said the 14th was the firm deadline.However, I later discovered that the company had extended the promotion without informing me. Setting a firm sale date and then changing it creates a false sense of urgency, which is an unethical and misleading business practice.Furthermore, I only learned after making the deposit that ****************** had a history of one malpractice lawsuit and one fatality in 2013. The surgery center neglected to disclose this information to me.When I contacted the refund department, they claimed the sales coordinator was unaware of promotion extensions and did not know if the bait-and-switch tactic was illegal. They also said they had never heard of the issues with ******************. Ultimately, they refused my refund request, citing the non-refundable policy I had signed under pressure.I have requested documentation of the promotion's original deadline and extension, but the company has not provided it. I am now forced to pursue legal action due to the misleading sales tactics and failure to properly vet the surgeon.

      Your company's practice of falsely advertising promotional sale end dates and then extending them without notice is illegal. I was misled by your sales representative, who told me the promotion had ended and I could not continue the call on a later date. This bait-and-switch tactic is unacceptable and I will pursue legal action if the issue is not resolved. Please provide documentation detailing the original promotional deadline and the extension, as I believe you are using illegal sales tactics to get consumers to make purchases under the impression that the offer is about to expire. I am willing to work with you, but I will not tolerate these deceptive practices. Ignoring the legality of your actions and simply reiterating your non-refund policy is not an adequate response.

      Given the misleading sales tactics and failure to disclose crucial information, I believe a reasonable resolution would be for the company to compensate me. Specifically, I request the company provide documentation of the original promotion deadline, extension, and any other relevant details to support my claim of being misled.       I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the manner in which my case has been handled. As previously mentioned, the bait and switch tactic employed during our transaction is both unethical and unacceptable. This has caused significant inconvenience and distress, and despite my attempts to resolve the matter through the Better Business Bureau, a satisfactory resolution has not been provided.

      While I appreciate their apology for the miscommunication regarding the promotional pricing and Dr. ****** history, their response does not fully address my specific concerns. I have already communicated via email that I prefer all correspondence to be in writing for documentation purposes. Despite this, they claim they have been unable to reach me, which is misleading.

      Furthermore, I have already disputed the payment with my bank. The dispute was denied because Avana Plastic Surgery provided documentation of their no-refund policy. Therefore, their assertion that the dispute process will take 90 days is incorrect, as the dispute is already closed due to their no-refund documentation.

      The response from Avana Plastic Surgery does not sufficiently address the misleading promotional pricing, the lack of proper notification regarding the promotion extension, and my concerns about Dr. ****** history.       I am writing in response to Avana Plastic Surgerys recent communication regarding my complaint. There are several inaccuracies and concerning points in their message that I would like to address.

      1.Dispute Status: Avana Plastic Surgery claims that they are unable to process any refunds until the bank completes its investigation, which they state can take up to 90 days. However, my bank has already informed me that the dispute was closed on July 28, and they have sent documentation to Avana Plastic Surgery indicating the same. Therefore, there is no ongoing 90-day investigation.
      2.Contradictory Statements: Throughout our previous communications, Avana Plastic Surgery has repeatedly stated that I cannot receive a refund due to the no-refund policy. Now, they are contradicting themselves by stating that the reason for the delay in the refund process is the bank dispute. This is inconsistent and misleading.
      3.Ignoring Communication Preferences: Despite my numerous emails clearly stating that I can only be reached via email, Avana Plastic Surgery continues to claim they have been unable to contact me. This is not true and suggests that they are intentionally ignoring my preferred method of communication, thereby prolonging the situation unnecessarily.
      4.False Claims: Avana Plastic Surgerys recent response suggests they are pretending to be working on a resolution while, in fact, they are not taking any meaningful steps. I have documentation from my bank showing that the dispute was closed in Avana Plastic Surgerys favor, which contradicts their current stance.

      I had an appointment with a completely different clinic. I was cleared by my doctor and my tests were all normal and completed on time. Before I paid anything I had a consult and was given the go ahead given the information I gave *****************************. Less than two weeks before the surgery they call me stating they won't do it, but they have a doctor who will, so I have to hurry and sign a form so they can transfer all of my tests to him so he can talk to me about my surgery.This was a complete lie. Without ever talking to avana they took my money and scheduled a surgery for I don't even know when or for how much since I had never spoken to anyone.I immediately asked for my money back from Unique Aesthetics the day they canceled me. They ignored me. So, I emailed again and they said Avana had my money and Avana said I would have to do a refund request at a link. I had to make an account because I'd never even had one or spoken to these people. Some man calls me today stating there will be a cancellation fee for a surgery I never scheduled! I was told they were transferring my files so I could speak to them. I of course would never choose a doctor without research, and this doctor is a nightmare. I want my money back as this feels like a big scam and I'm willing to take this to court if I don't get it because I signed the transfer of files under false pretenses. I would have never agreed to a surgery at a different clinic before I spoke to someone. Who would?

      I, ******************, am placing a complaint on Avana Plastic Surgery due to various attempts to reach out to customer service for a refund. It all started when I was forced to find a surgeon due to one of my old breast implants popping. I found about Avana Plastic surgery through a promotion, and after negotiating, I payed $4050.00 for breast augmentation surgery. The ******* ************************** couldn't help me immediately and sent me to do neurology tests because of my past medical history. Due to the nature of the injury, I couldn't perform such test and was forced to go into emergency. I have called many times during a couple months trying to get a refund while being told that it would be refunded many times on different days without a resolve. I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service and want a full refund since I cancelled due to a medical reason.

      WELL THEY ISSUED $2,000 BACK TO A ORIGINAL PAYMENT THAT WAS VIA CASHAPP   THAT I HAD ORIGINALLY PAID $2000. OVER A YEAR OR SO AGO AND THAT CASHAPP HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER A YEAR  NOW .  I DIDNT REALIZED THAT THEY DID SUCH BECAUSE MY UPDATED PAYMENT AND BANK WAS ALREADY ON MY PROFILE  FOR UPDATED ACCOUNT.       I am rejecting this response because: they sent the refund to a closed cash app that I have no longer has access to and I  spoken to a guy name ***************** ******* at avana in the refund department on this issue before he process this payment to a account I clearly said I have no access to and even on the AVANA portal my bank information that I done have either SECU bank is on there and he assured me that he will make sure that is taken care of and he didnt he went ahead and process my payment to the original method which was a cash app account that was over a year ago so he have me false misleading information and cash app nor AVANA or resolving my issue

      On April 21 I put in refund regarding my lipo bbl 360 surgery for 3700 , i signed agreement I have proof that I will receive my payment within 30 business days I aint recieved my payment yet I contacted avana plastic surgery over 20 times and emails calls .regarding not recieving my refund . All im getting back is the same email saying my payment is processing and will be here within 30 days . 30 days changed into 60 days they said and thats not the agreement I signed . On may 31 I called spoke to a man explaining to him the situation he said if my refund is not back on my card by June 4 give them call , on June 3 I contacted avana plastic surgery coopertaion and a email all I keep getting is the refund processing its been saying its been processing for weeks now . Aint nobody explaining to me where my refund why is it taking longer then the agree signed contact this place is very rude and unprofessional. I just want my dam refund back asap . I just lost my father couldnt even give him a good funeral services because I been waiting on my refund that I was told and signed a agreement saying my refund will be here within ***************************** money asap are Im just about to file a lawsuit on avana plastic surgery regarding my refund .       I paid for an extended tummy tuck with 2 areas of lipo ..       Hello and to whom this message concerns I paid avana 7300 for a BBL and Lipo 360 but I cancelled the appt and in the policy wnd agreement I signed it stated i will receive $6800 within 30 business days I asked for a refund on 3/21/2024 and have still not received my refund Ive contacted them the representative whom *** spoken to countless of times continues to state that my refund will be issued between ***** business days when thats not what the policy I signed and agreed to stated. *** spoken to the supervisors of in the refund **** and they will keep giving me the run around on whats going on with my refund which has left me no choice but to file a complaint

      1/31/24 I was scheduled for a procedure at Avana with **********, however on surgery day I decided to get this procedure done at another clinic so I cancelled and requested a refund for over 11k which is what I paid. I waited the 60 business days for my refund with no problem however Im over 60 days and I cant even get a live rep from the refund department on the phone, every time I call they tell me Ill get a callback and it never happens, this has been frustrating and unprofessional trying to obtain my funds back and I will soon be contacting a lawyer about it
