      My surgery was cancelled due to the disorganization and unprofessional work habits of the employees. I was told I would get a full refund ***** days. Today is the 59th day. I am told it still has not been processed. Reading all the reviews tells me they will try to give me $1000 at a time. This is unacceptable! I had to pay hundreds out of pocket for testing and other costs. I had to make arrangements to travel, be off of work, etc. None of that will be compensated. HOW can they take your money all at once but not return it? WHY does it take 60 days? It has been longer than 60 days, I have been waiting all summer long for the refund. The hardship this has caused me can't even be described. They don't care about people! They don't care about anything but taking people's money. My next step is to get a lawyer and sue them. If I have to go to ******* to do that it will be done.

      I have been requesting a refund since June. As you can see, they are giving me the runaround. They keep saying ***** days. They promised me yesterday when I called it would be in my account today. I woke up and it is not there. I called Truist and it is not pending. I called Avana and now they are telling me there is no one in the refund department to take my call today! So they are avoiding me today because what is the next excuse going to be?
      I looked them up on the BBB and they have an F rating.
      I looked up their ****** reviews and they have many complains and bad reviews about refunds. They are keeping people's money and giving people the runaround.
      I received NO services from them and have waited all summer for a refund! Enough is enough. I desperately NEED that money. School has started. I have bills. This is unbelievable a company can do this and get away with it!

      My surgeon left the company and I decided that I did not want to proceed with the surgery. I cancelled and paid all penaltys and I am still owed back 650.00$ after all fines and penalties. I was assured after 90 days I would have this refund. Its now been 5 months every time I call I am either put on hold or transferred to a man name **** who just assured me 2 weeks ago the money was being deposited directly into my account which has not been done. In the mean time I keep receiving emails and phone calls that my surgery is coming up. They are a scam and will do anything to keep a dollar .

      I paid $5700 for a procedure with Avana Plastic Surgery I canceled my procedure due to concerns about the practice on May 5, they then processed my refund request on May 8 and the contract specifically states the refund takes 30 days. It is now August 30 and I still have not received a refund nor have I received the refund receipts that they have promised to send me multiple times. I am seeking my full refund. I held up my end Of the contract by waiting patiently for the 30 days, which they then changed to 30 business days which later turned to 60 business days and they have continuously lied about sending my refund. I am seeking my full refund.

      August 2021 I decided to start the process of having surgery with Avana Plastic Surgery and paid my deposit to secure a date. Over time I've had to reschedule due to various reasons which was never an issue. I recently decided to postpone my surgery again due to my job and asked for a refund minus the $500 they deduct from the total amount I've paid which I understood from the very beginning. They also deducted another $200 because I decided to not fully cancel my surgery but postpone it making it a total of $700 deducted from the $2700 I gave paid so far. I started the refund process in June and was told it would take ***** business days again I was fine with that now here is where the issue started as I stated I started paying in 2021 and it is now 2024 I no longer have any of the cards that I paid with and they're requesting letters from the banks which I can not obtain all the accounts are closed it has been 3 years they're refusing to give me a refund until I provide them with letters. I provided them with a credit report showing the credit cards were closed and was told they give a one time courtesy however they've backtracked on that and asking for letters from the credit card companies in order to obtain a refund. People beware of Avana they have robbed me and I just want my refund and to no longer do any business with this business they have no integrity at all.

      Avana promised me a $4300 refund due to a canceled surgery. To date (8/26/2024) I have ONLY received $1000 of the promised refund. Getting the complete runaround and promised every day that it's going to be sent. At this point I will be seeking legal action if my refund is not returned. I've tried to be pleasant and at this point I am getting taken advantage of. The fact that a multi-million dollar business can't keep their word (and signed agreement) is completely outrageous! Send me my money!

      I had surgery on 4/10/2024 paid for in advance. Breast lift with implant exchange, and upper back lift. When I came out of surgery and got home I realized the implant exchange had not been done. When I inquired Avana told me I did not pay for it and they changed it in the portal. After speaking with numerous people I asked to speak with the ** ****** and she informed me that **************** had agreed to waive her fees for a revision and that I would only have to pay for OR and anesthesia fees and new implants. Implant exchange comes with new implants therefore I have already paid for that. After all the confusion I requested a refund. They refuse to give me a refund only a $500 credit. They finally agreed I paid for implant exchange but still want me to pay $3000.00 for implant t exchange. I agree with OR and anesthesia fees as it is a revision. But not to pay for what I have already paid to have done. I paid for implant exchange. ****** says an implant exchange does not cover new implants. Then what is the definition of exchange?

      I paid $5k for a *** last year. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel and request a refund. I was aware of the $500 cancelation policy which was fine. I requested my refund back in June. Upon reading contract it says up to 30 days if using the same card I used to make the payments and ***** days if I had to use a different card. When the 30 days came about I called Avana refund department to make them aware of the past date for my refund. **** from refund department states the 60 days and I made him aware of me using the same card. **** reached out to the HR department and on monday 8/12/24 the HR department made him aware they were going to send out my refund that DAY. It is now 4 days later and my refund still has not been processed or sent out and every time I call I am getting hung up on, or someone saying they spoke to **** and he is awaiting response from chairman. I just want my money.

I called Avana yesterday to question when the rest of the money would be issued back they told me yesterday. Nothing else has been issued back as of now.

      In September 2023 I scheduled an surgery with Avana and made my inital deposit. I also signed their refund policy that clearly states that refunds are issued within ********************** June 2024 I made my final payment to them totaling *******. Due to Avanas ********************* of professionalism, I cancelled my surgery and requested a full refund on 6/27/24. When I requested my refund, the refund department attempted to tell me that my refund would be issued within 60 days. I pointed out that my signed refund policy States 30 days. After reviewing what I signed, they agreed & stated my refund would be issued within 30 days. After 30 days passed I contacted them again. This time they claimed that I signed a policy stating ***** days and that I needed to allow more time. That is a lie, I have proof of the policy that I signed. They forged an electronic signature & are refusing to refund my money.

      I am rejecting this response because: After waiting over 45 days I still did not receive correspondence from Avana nor a refund. I then had to submit a dispute with my banks. I was able to dispute all charges except for a $1000.00 payment I made on 10/21/23 due to the timeframe. My banks are handling all of the other charges but my issue will not be resolved until Avana refunds this $1000.00 as well.

      Hello, I paid Avana plastic surgery a $250 deposit for cosmetic surgery I was planning for July 2025. After a visit with my primary care doctor I decided to cancel the appointment and requested a refund. They were persistent that I could change doctors to one that would have more experience to work with someone like myself with the health risk I have. I let them know that my doctor will not clear me for this procedure and I was told that I could not receive a refund because there was a $500 cancellation fee. I did not sign the agreement and sent a screenshot to the refund department showing I never submitted the agreements. Due to history of pulmonary embolism and very low blood levels, my doctor will not clear me for this type of procedure. I did let the refund department know my situation and they said they would get back to me. I have not heard from them since then, and I have tried calling them several times and have not received an answer. I would greatly appreciate a refund of my deposit due to my medical history and proof that I didnt not submit the agreement for the charge of the cancellation fee.
