I was referred to ******* at Citizens Claim Consultants in late November 2022. On the date of mediation, I was so nervous as ******* was 30 minutes late. The mediator asked if I would be able to represent myself (quite embarrassing) & I asked the mediator if we could wait. ******* finally made it on the call. State Farms adjuster stated during mediation that he did not have the amount we were claiming on file. At this point I had paid them 20% of what State Farm had paid me thus far yet Im chasing them to know next steps. I would reach out to *******'s assistant, *********** would not get a response for days/weeks. I reached out to ******** personal number to share my feedback in regards to the lack of communication regarding my claim. I never heard back from her. My insurance had sent an email October ******************************************************************************** a timely manner. Again, here I was chasing wanting to know why. In November 2023, State Farm again denied appraisal. I reached out to *********** never heard back. At this point, I couldnt help but think that they dropped the ball and my claim was improperly handled. On 12/8/23, I get a call from State Farm advising that I will be receiving a check for my deductible amount. I asked them if my claim was closed and they replied, yes. It was disappointing to receive this news from State Farm & not the public adjuster I hired. I sent a text to ************* assistant sharing my discontent with their lack of communication & seeking guidance. For the first time, ******* responded to my text. She stated shed be sending me a release since State Farm is so willing to reimburse me. She also stated that her next step was to file a complaint with the ********** of ********* Services but that I can now do so myself. I wouldnt know what your next steps were as NO ONE informed me of any updates or next steps.
