My name is Leanela ***** and I participated in the last Breezy Bowl 2024 that took place at Club Live in ***********. I need to file a complaint through this means after having tried to communicate with Breeze work team throughout these months and not having any response. During the months of competition, long before the day of the show, I was one of the winners of two cash prices that have not yet been paid to me. The first one was $6,666 and the other was $2,000. I invested a lot of money in the competition and it seems to me a great lack of respect and professionalism that no one answers my emails and much more that I have not been paid after all these months. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I already put in a transaction dispute for $600 with this company. The take your money then email saying they cannot pay out any prizes due to finances. So what's the point in doing the contest (the whole premise of the business) if you cannot pay it out? I know other models have had the same experience in getting their money taken and never given back. Some in the past said the show never happened! Beware!Initial Complaint

This company is ******** hundreds of women who thought this company was legit when in fact they are just scammers! Originally they sent me an email telling me I was invited to apply to walk in their ***** swim week. At first I was excited and thought this would be a fun opportunity, but then realized you have to pay. This is unheard of in the modeling industry but I still thought okay let me give it a shot. They also promise you a photo shoot and video of the show plus 3 bikinis a year for life. I paid $600 for the deposit and they still want to collect another $1200 from me. Absolutely not going to happen and now the company is refusing to give me my money back. After getting suspicious and doing more research about this brand, I found that their EIN is not even active anymore which means they are not in good standing with the state they operate business from. Do not ever buy from them, as I have since seen even more terrible reviews for this brand! I want my money back!Customer Answer

Breezy Swim charged me $1,400 to "model" in their show, then cancelled and kept the money. Also got me to pay to be in their "ambassadorship" program and kept charging me after I cancelled. Breezy Swimwear is a scam.Initial Complaint

Breezy Swimwear is claiming to have models walk a runway to an undisclosed location, calling it swim week in ***** yet it is only 1 day. They claim winner takes home ****** and they dont require any casting calls, audition or any vetting of their participants because they said all bodies matter and appear to be very diverse. Yet to be involved, you have to invest ***** not including air fare and hotel for your stay. They give multiple incentives like getting a lifetime of free bathing suits and a online modeling course to prepare. Keep in mind you cant access the online modeling course until making $1200 payment. They have you put your credit card information on a ****** doc which I thought was suspicious as well as later finding out against ****** docs terms. They do not allow sensitive information such as credit cards. So i was sure to report their ****** doc form as well. They also state multiple times that in no way possible is deposit refundable, under any circumstances. Yet, I will be disputing fraud with my bank anyway. This business needs to be stopped. I am unsure there is any actual runway that happens at all, as they clearly state they dont even have a secured venue. I should have noticed the many red flags, instead being eager to be a part of the event, as well as their popular social media presence. It was easy to trust and look past. Now, I am just in hopes of getting my $600 back as I have locked my card and will be replacing with new one since they have my information on file at their dispense.Initial Complaint

On August 2020 I activated a Breezy Swimwear membership which I suddenly cancelled after I got charged $ 27,36 + $8 for a bikini that I received but I didnt like at all. I got an email from Breezy Swimwear to confirm my membership cancelation and I didnt logged in my account on their website anymore since then. On December 2022, while looking at the transactions history on my bank account, I realised by chance that Breezy Swimwear was still charging me for months, even though I had never reactivate my membership after canceling on 2020! The total amount they took from my credit card is $210 (transactions history: $15 on 20 September 2022, $15 on 20 October 2022, $ 15 on 23 November 2022, $150 on 18 December 2023, $15 on 3 January 2023). In the last weeks I have asked them for a refund several times by reaching out to the email address stated on their website ********************************* getting no answer at all. I have also realised that there is no way to delete my account and my information from their website, which is absolutely not privacy policy compliant! I need to get my money back and as I expressly withdraw my consent to use my data, I want Breezy Swimwear and Shopify to cancel all my information from their and third party database asap.Initial Complaint

I asked them to stop charging my card 07/2021. They stopped. It was a charge I did not know was happening. A year and a half later, they charged my card for $150 on the week of Christmas. Illegal and fraud. Why do they still have card number after this long?! They do not have a phone number to call. You have to send an email. Thanks for ruining my budget for Christmas. I've deactivated my card. Never never never do business with this company. I have emails from 2 years ago asking them to stop. Now I'm out $150 for nothing. A year and a half later. On 9/17/2022 I was charged for a $15 cancellation fee, I cancelled my subscription 4/3/2021, and then on 10/12/2022 I was charged $200, without ordering anything, without giving them authorization. They charged me AGAIN for $200 on 11/11/2022, which again I havent ordered anything, or given them authorization to charge my credit card. On 11/30/2022, they tried charging me ANOTHER $200, thankfully I didnt have enough credit on my card to allow the transaction to go through. I signed up for an influencer program over two years ago. When they sent me the merchandise, it was defective.. they said since it was a promo, they werent going to refund my money, so I just canceled my influencer status if I wasnt going to be able to wear the products and stand behind the quality of them. Again, this was over two years ago. I have now been charged the last couple months automatically and have emailed their contact me link to prevent another charge and the phone number for them is a dead line, and nobody will email me back.. I shouldnt have to change my AMEX number for them to stop charging my card- and its very concerning I can still log into the account, but cannot take off my credit card.
