This is a matter regarding negligence that resulted in damages to my vehicle while being serviced at Palmetto **** of Miami. The Service Technician (****** *****) worked on my vehicle and directed me to tow my vehicle to Palmetto ***** Palmetto **** is where my car was worked on from 02/25/2025-03/14/2025. This Service Technician stated that my car was in need of a torque converter repair after receiving the car and further examining it. He said I had another ******* miles to go until needing a transmission repair. I was informed my car was ready for pickup by the Service Technician on 03/14/2025 at Palmetto **** and everything was good to go. I was given a balance of $1,700 and it was paid in full. I reached out to the Service Technician from 03/16/2025-03/17/2025 via calls and texts explaining the car was not driving properly but the Service Technician never responded. On 03/18/2025, I spoke to the Service Manager and informed him of the current state of my vehicle. My vehicle wasn't accelerating properly, it made knocking sounds when put in gear, in addition to skipping while shifting. The Service Manager gave me his word he would have the Service Technician fix whatever he worked on and my car would be towed back to Palmetto **** at their expense. On 03/20/2025, I met with the Service Manager again who then informed me that their Service Technician did everything right and I already had a transmission issue, although previously being informed there was no transmission issue. I spoke to ** who stated that the Service Technician "misdiagnosed" my car and this was an issue I had to take up directly with the Service Technician. The ** said he could offer me an "I'm Sorry" and a "fist pump". The ** stated that "I am trying to get something out of nothing". I'm asking that the company compensate me by fixing the preexisting damages to my car that resulted from an improperly installed torque converter by an incompetent Service Technician at Palmetto *****Initial Complaint

My leased 2021 **** Explorer broke on November 19. On the 21th I dropped it in the Palmetto **** of Miami dealer where I got the lease in 2021. They said they would call back in 5 days. They didnt. So I called and they said that later that they or the next day they would call with a diagnosis. They have mentioned transmission fault codes but are still pending confirmation from the mechanic. I have continued paying my lease because I don't want to be at fault with **** Financial, but I am not being able to use the car. Also, my lease expires in a month, on Jan 19/2024. I was supposed to take the car for pre-inspection almost a month ago, right when it broke. The car was not in any accident. I just stopped the car and when I wanted to re-start it, it would not turn on anymore. It died.It has been almost a month since I left the car there and I have been calling or visiting every single day, and every day they say Later today or maximum tomorrow we will call with a diagnosis. I placed a case with **** Customer Relationship. Case # ************** placed on 12/12/2023. But this has not helps in any way either.I have another case open with ****: CXH-********-P5T4Y3. This second case has also been ineffective. Is this normal? Am I resourceless here, at the mercy of **** and the dealer?Initial Complaint

I have been trying to schedule my 2023 **** Explorer for service due to a recall and every time I get an appointment, I get a call the day before to tell me that they do not have a mechanic on Saturdays to do the service. I am a full time employee and I am only able to take my car to the shop on Saturdays. There should be a mechanic at the shop to do this type of service on Saturdays.Business Response

Good afternoon, we have no records of a customer by the name of ************************* in our system having purchased a vehicle or with history of previous repairs in our shop. This might have gotten mixed up with another **** dealership. Furthermore there are some repairs that can not be accommodated for a same day repair specially on a Saturday.
On another note ***************************** is no longer associated with Palmetto **** for the last 3 years. The dealer is part of the *** Freightliner auto group. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because a simple fix of a rear view camera does not take all day. Also, i have taken my vehicleto your shop for oil changes many times so your response asvising that you cannot find my record is a reflectionof the disorganization that exists at your shop.
Many times I have scheduled service appointments online to then be told that the shop is closed on that date when I show ** in person.
i want my vehicle recall fixed and if something happens to my vehicle because of your failure to accommodate my schedule for a Saturday appointment, you will be responsible for the expenses i incur in fixing it myself.
Sincerely,

Good afternoon ****************
Like i stated in the previous response, i tried to cross reference the information that was provided to me by the BBB and i was unable to come up with any matches. I tried searching with the phone number **************, also tried using your Full Name and lastly i even attempted with the email *************************** and all came back as "No Customer found".
On a second note, the times that the shop has been closed and i have been unable to receive any new vehicles in for service is due to the overwhelming amount of cars that we receive to the point that my parking lot gets full and i have no physical space for more vehicles. I apologize that have not been unable to meet your standards as a service location, below i will list 4 other **** locations that open on Saturdays that might be able to accommodate your needs since they have less work.
